Cantor Fitzgerald Reiterates Buy Rating for Gulf Keystone (GKP)

Gulf Keystone logoCantor Fitzgerald reiterated their buy rating on shares of Gulf Keystone (LON:GKP) in a research report released on Tuesday morning, American Banking and Market News reports. Cantor Fitzgerald currently has a GBX 235 ($3.64) price objective on the stock.
A number of other analysts have also recently weighed in on GKP. Analysts at Westhouse Securities reiterated a sell rating on shares of Gulf Keystone (LON:GKP) in a research note to investors on Tuesday. They now have a GBX 155 ($2.40) price target on the stock. Separately, analysts at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. downgraded shares of Gulf Keystone (LON:GKP) from a buy rating to a neutral rating in a research note to investors on Friday, August 16th. They now have a GBX 265 ($4.11) price target on the stock.
One analyst has rated the stock with a sell rating, two have assigned a hold rating and five have given a buy rating to the company. Gulf Keystone currently has a consensus rating of Buy and an average price target of GBX 238.75 ($3.70).

Been up at an oil conference in Aberdeen. A few guys I've bumped into say GKP is recruiting like crazy at the moment. I didn't know that (I own shares but long ago gave up on following the day-to-day machinations of GKP because life is too short).

Litigation update and agreed short term suspension of trading in the Company's common shares on AIM from the day of judgment of the Excalibur case
The English Commercial Court in London (the "Court") has set the date and time for its decision in relation to the claims asserted by Excalibur Ventures LLC ("Excalibur") against Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited and its two subsidiaries (the "Companies") and Texas Keystone Inc. (together the "Defendants") as 10.30 a.m. on 10 September 2013 (the "Decision").
The Judge has indicated that he will read in open court his Decision and a summary of his conclusions will be available at www.judiciary.gov.uk on the day. The full, written judgment will not be made public until a later date.
As the Decision will be given in real time in open court and in order to maintain an orderly market in the Company's shares, Gulf Keystone confirms that trading in its shares on AIM will be suspended (the "Suspension") from 7.30 a.m. on 10 September 2013 and this Suspension will remain in place until such time as the Company releases an RNS giving details of the Decision, which is expected to be later the same day.

Just seen this: "Gulf Keystone Petroleum (GKP) has requested that its shares be suspended from trading from tomorrow morning until later in the day once the company has updated investors on the outcome of the court hearing into claims against the company by Excalibur Ventures, which will begin at 10.30am tomorrow."
Will it be accepted?

always said EXC were a bunch of carpetbaggers and i'm delighted that they have been totally whacked!
that sp will now rocket once the suspension is lifted is another matter :-)

once the initial knee-jerk euphoria has evaporated, it will be very interesting indeed to see what value the assorted analysts place on the company, especially as the board also now has a more respectable face to it
