Marchpole is one of those stocks which have had a really bad time. Boardroom battles, losses, price collapse, profit warnings up the ying yang.

Now all of those things seem to be sorted out, new management are getting to grips, new contracts and the price is on the up. So much so that Monday ought to see a 50/200 day MA golden cross.

DYOR of course, but I think I will be putting a few of these away at the open.

A lot of 'stale bulls' to be cleared out. Once they have gone, the share should resume its climb north again. Chart looks a bit of a mess though with no clear direction.

seems as though a lot of people went to sleep last night already determined to lock in yesterdays (mon) increase. Easily done; fall asleep dreaming of percentage gains, wake up, drink several cups of coffee and before you know it your finger is autopiloting on the sell button. I expect/hope to see much more positive next few days.

there is a good trend from Feb; july and now Dec and we are currently on the bottom of it!
Theres much more to come from marchpole, all news is good and expanding at a pace.

It is down as the retailers are all suffering on the high street with the poorest x'mas sales in a decade. I think it will go down further.

Anybody thats been keeping an eye on advfn/daily trades? Looks like somebodys accumulating big time, wouldn't surprise me if we get rns to this effect sometime soon. Is this the reason why the sp is not moving as it should....... surely not!

Someone accumulating shares is my reading too.R=30p and real breakout further up @35p.Perkier today.

Agreed. We know how well sales are going and we have the potential plus factor of the OB legal matters being sorted out, somebody buying (looks that way) and the possible purchase of L Feraud. Also as 016622 pointed out were currently sat on the bottom of the long term trading line.

MPH trading is strong,however,sp down on general retail sentiment and in time should recover back to 37p upwards.Holding.imho.

cud be heading for a dip and double bottom.Watch for possibility of drop to 25p where expecting buyers to pile back in.Intra day low of 22p/23p last time.Fingers at the ready on the buy buttons.imho.

Still in risng trend and possibly may trade sideways until divi paid out this coming wednesday.Good value at these levels and possibility bounce is on.Holding.

Guys.. HRD up to 7.25- 8 after aprofil on working lunch.. nice play to compliment my MPH...

Dividend received on 26th Jan.Interesting trades today which possibly is first positive signal of move north.Next week should tell.R=30p.

Man Group aquiring more.Been a few million shares being hoovered up recently.Who else has been buying.Good news and chart becoming more interesting by the day.

Sure we'll find out in good time. No expert on the charts, but is a golden cross forming? Very bullish buy sign.

I'm not a chart expert dawsinho either so I wont venture an opinion
on the chart but I have just bought some shares!
I liked the look of:
The company, the Xmas sales figs in a very harsh retail environment,
the volumes going through, the past share price performance, the future
prospects, the fact it reports in the not too distant future and the fact
that big names (Man Grp) are also buying in.
All in all that suits me!!
