Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

markymar - 23 Apr 2011 09:02 - 4642 of 6294

just catching up after getting back cynic, would be good to get some news next week when markets open again, looks like you have a lovely day down there today,i seem to have a big cloud following me at mo and cant shake it off.

cynic - 23 Apr 2011 09:06 - 4643 of 6294

good job it's not me dogging you then! ..... confess i am out of all falkland stocks for now, even though it meant some bullet-biting on RKH .... with regards to XEL, i just hope they issue the CPR first thing tuesday, as these continued delays are unsettling for market sentiment, not least because bad news tends top take longer to publish than good

Balerboy - 23 Apr 2011 15:42 - 4644 of 6294

Agree with you there Cobber!!!

TopAnalyst - 26 Apr 2011 18:16 - 4645 of 6294

I am removing ALL my research from here due to the constant personal abuse, defamation and distortions of it posted by:

This bunch of abusive retards is the reason MoneyAM will NEVER have a forum worth reading.

I have reported them to support by they do nothing, either because they want to force me to PAY them for the Traders Room or because they are too lazy to do anything. Maybe the people in support are the ones perpetrating the abuse, so as to force people to pay for the premium boards. Either way the service is sh1te and a disgrace to the finance industry. No wonder there is nobody left here apart from morons.

I will continue posting my good research on boards that are run in accordance with FSA and LSE listing rules and the interests of the market, not here where ar5eh0les rule the boards and all decent research is buried under their piles of sh1te.

Haystack - 26 Apr 2011 18:48 - 4646 of 6294

LOL

Quite an outburst. I find it difficult to believe that the management of MAM are trying to force you into paying for the Traders BB. You should look at ADVFN if you want to see abuse. I can't say that I have seen much on here and nothing serious directed towards you. Maybe your research is not quite as good as you think. As regards FSA rules are concerned, this site seems to be the best regulated site I have found.

greekman - 27 Apr 2011 07:20 - 4647 of 6294

Have to agree with Haystack re ADVFN, and the moderating from MoneyAm, BUT I have great sympathy with TopAnalyst as there are a few posters on here who tear other posts to bits for the sole reason of not agreeing with the contents.
I must admit to putting a few of those names mentioned on squelch in the past myself, but also to having removing all but 1 from ignore list when others mention they are not as abusive as previously.

So not taking sides, or naming names but just stating how easy it is to get annoyed at those who post contents that can be taken personally.

So, TopAnalyst, please continue to post as although not agreeing 100% with your posts (who ever does) I do value them as I value some posts by some of those you have named.

Answering abuse with abuse though is never the best way to go.

As to the traders board, I found very little difference when I was paid up member.

markymar - 27 Apr 2011 07:39 - 4648 of 6294

blackdown - 27 Apr 2011 08:05 - 4649 of 6294

Describing his/her posts as 'research' is possibly pushing things a bit.

greekman - 05 May 2011 07:30 - 4650 of 6294

Rockhopper announce spudding of well on Tuesday, as expected sp goes up.
Following day, as expected sp on 'no news' goes down to below pre spud news.
Just goes to show how this share is being played by the mm's but mainly by the day trades and short term punters.
Its like playing roulette!

Mind you, I am betting on 'Black' and lots of it!

avsec - 05 May 2011 10:05 - 4651 of 6294
