Proselenes - 15 Jun 2011 08:54

.

required field - 20 Apr 2012 10:13 - 461 of 1086

Going long on FOGL....

required field - 20 Apr 2012 10:15 - 462 of 1086

Danger is that we might have a 150p spike on BOR if a positive leak filters out from a reliable source !.

cynic - 20 Apr 2012 10:25 - 463 of 1086

on the other hand tony, a market truism is that bad news always travels slowly

tony727 - 20 Apr 2012 10:30 - 464 of 1086

If this was the second well I would agree >> But its the first ! a negative RNS would have positive spin about spudding the next well ...... still what the F*** do I know....... Just going to have to wait

markymar - 20 Apr 2012 11:02 - 465 of 1086

It is all quiet in the FI also look how wrong the sun newspaper were yesterday about the CPR been delayed....Pro is making it up as he goes, tosh springs to mind.

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 11:14 - 466 of 1086

And The Sun were spot on with the RKH CPR, it was promised for Easter and its late coming out well after Easter and its figures are lower than most expected.

Sun spot on there, and hopefully they will be with BOR - Morani says the story is good and its spot on - thats a big vote of confidence.

Monday morning RNS is very likely, as I posted on Sunday 15th.

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 11:30 - 467 of 1086

RKH P50 of Sea Lion for recoverable barrels was 170 million pre-drill. Its now ended up as 350 million.

If you put the same factor to Darwin, pre-drill is presently 760 million recoverable barrels, but potentially after appraisal P50 could be 1.56 billion recoverable barrels.

Interesting.

grevis2 - 20 Apr 2012 11:32 - 468 of 1086

How's Mrs K going to react to such a discovery?

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 11:37 - 469 of 1086

Everyone would do well to remember the North Falklands Basin is all about deposition by rivers/lakes. Owing to this sands are thin and multiple with lots of fresh water around. Complex to develop as it requires lots of wells and so more expensive. This is why NFB prospects are small in comparison to the South.

The South Falklands Basin is a marine deposition environment (sea), so sands should be thick. I am hoping for very good and very thick sands at Darwin - will be a good boost to the campaign. The South Falklands is all about "mega" prospects, really big.

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 11:39 - 470 of 1086

grevis, its why HMG might have put a "D Notice" on BOR to allow themselves a few days to prepare for Mrs K's reaction to a massive oil find.

Everyone is asking why no RNS, well, might be a "D Notice" to delay until after the weekend............. ??

cynic - 20 Apr 2012 12:12 - 471 of 1086

D notices?? ....bullshit :-) ...... argentina has made an absolute ass of herself with clearly little or no support even in other south american countries

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 12:14 - 472 of 1086

cynic, you would never know if there was or not - impossible to argue for or against.

:)

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 12:15 - 473 of 1086

Better get clear on your position cynic.

Are you in or out at the moment ? of BOR and FOGL ?

I see you sold too early yet again, have you brought back in ?

cynic - 20 Apr 2012 12:21 - 474 of 1086

you don't read too well do you :-)
I bought within the last 2/3 days - BOR x 5,000 + 5,000 and then sold 5,000 at a decent profit - FOGL x 5,000 + 5,000
and this "selling too early" is just so much nonsense, and it's exactly why so many end up losing their shirts ..... and incidentally, i see you also closed a number of BOR positions (no doubt too early!)

Shortie - 20 Apr 2012 13:01 - 475 of 1086

I missed selling some at 135 this morning as hadn't placed the order. Oh well, its a wait and see now.

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 13:09 - 476 of 1086

Analysts at banking heavyweight Goldman Sachs say they are disappointed by the new competent persons report from Falkland oil firm Rockhopper Exploration (LON:RKH).
The report estimated that Rockhopper’s Sea Lion oil field and its associated discoveries contain 355.6 million barrels of 2C contingent

Could be code for, we are about to go all out for South Falklands and forget the North..............

Proselenes - 20 Apr 2012 14:27 - 477 of 1086

Heading for 140 now.........

required field - 20 Apr 2012 14:33 - 478 of 1086

At this late stage : looks like something positive will be in the next rns....

HARRYCAT - 20 Apr 2012 14:38 - 479 of 1086

It's gonna be one hell of a drop if it turns out to be a dud! Think I will hang on though. At 140p I will have doubled my money. Fingers crossed!

halifax - 20 Apr 2012 14:42 - 480 of 1086

Harry short with tight guaranteed stop (if you can get it)?
