am i being very thick, or did i not see on my mobile somthing about RRL finding a HUGE column of oil in Puntland? .... if so, why is there no sp reaction?

There were big rumours before the last rns cynic. Sadly no oil. Hows the holday going?

Startling price resilience after the Puntland duster, but then possibly not so startling if you could value RRL's other assets and 99% of bb posters haven't been able to do that, including me. I think nearly everyone was expecting a severe drop on Tuesday, but it's done the opposite. it as if investors have breathed a huge sigh of relief that the Puntland albatross has nearly gone (?).

I believe (IMO)..........We can now get on with the job, as it were!

The Puntland drills have been dragging the Range SP Southwards, and as you state Chuckles, the market can now breathe a little easier. All this said we need "very Good" statements on Trinidad from our comrade Mr PL?

I am not sure I can hold my breath for too long waiting though!

Africa oil own 60% of Horn . Dont know if they can loan them cash for future drills.
Dont think they have cash like rmp. Certainly this one is being hit the worst.

Horn need to get some news out perhaps re Nugaal. Just hope its not a year away as some are saying, as they have nothing else.

Trinidad Update – Rig 8 Spud

Highlights:

* Final inspections of Rig 8 complete - operations to spud the MD248 well
will now commence

* Four drill rigs, including Rig 8, now operational on the Morne Diablo Block
targeting multiple horizons; the Lower Forest formation (circa 1,000 ft.),
the Upper Cruse formation (circa 2,000 ft.) and the Middle & Lower Cruse
formations (circa 4,000 ft. and 6,500 ft. respectively).

* Once target depth is reached at the MD248 well (expected to take 6-8
weeks), Rig 8 will then be moved on to drill the first well primarily
targeting the deeper Herrera formation as well as both the Forest and Cruse
formations

hmmm if this is the news that he wa going on about, I don't think it's inspirational enough. Another shorter version of Puntland, wait and hope for approx 2 months ! i hope he's got another one up his sleeve this week.

The selling this morning just shows the amount of investors that want out.

There will be very good/encouraging news coming to our investors near to the end of the week, this was on Monday!?..........What planet is PL on..........More to the point; what does he think good news is?
