I do think it will be down again soon, but I was thinking a bit longer term for the price to be higher. I don't see any value in Blinkx long term. The way their business model operates and their dependancy on their partners, it could evaporate overnight.

Hi rf, you stared last year dabbling cfd's did you end the year in + or - profit from it??

No....I'm no good at cfd's or spreads, never been able to make a profit on those though I still dabble at spreads, I have a few contracts going for FPM, PVR and COP....none of them at a profit as it stands but they are on a june contract so plenty of time for them to come right....but shares themselves is a much better bet for me...

It will be interesting to see over the next few days if institutions have been buying or selling.

The identity of who paid for the research that caused the problem would be very interesting to know. There have been suggestions that it could be a hedge fund, but I doubt it. It would be worrying if it was a current advertising partner or a prospective one.

Those that were in this with a stop loss triggered must be furious....

CFDs are effectively just geared shares as they have no time constraints ..... thus, if you can make money on shares, you should be able to do so with CFDs

That RNS sounds like the b*llox BPRG/MDX were prone to making. Wouldn't touch these long with a bargepole after today's reaction as it's clear that many shareholders are just punting them and have no real conviction to this being a good company.

Crowd mentality rf , big drop then bounce then slower drop that accelerates below the previous low then bounce etc etc.

Not saying 40p in a week but that's where I honestly believe it's heading but buying the bounces can prove very profitable. I used to do it with MDX until they forgot to bounce and went bust :-)
