Still here SWW, just nothing new to say. FWIW I like the higher low on the chart. I think that we have now turned the corner and can look forward to a new higher high as we run in towards the start of production from Chinguetti. Feeling very confident about this one - famous last words. A bit more patience and we'll get our just rewards.

seawallwalker - 07 Nov 2005 23:49 - 5222 of 7811

Pondy!!

So you are.

Totally agree.

Not much to say, but here is something to say and you said it.

I wont ramp this stock, it's bound to be a pound by Christmas! (wish)

Pond Life - 08 Nov 2005 08:37 - 5223 of 7811

And another tick up to start the day followed by an interesting cross trade of a small matter of 4,000,000 shares. Interesting times indeed.

namreh3 - 08 Nov 2005 12:57 - 5224 of 7811

SWW it may be that I am getting old, but I seem to remember the 1 by Christmas ramp exactly one year ago. I should have realised it would be Christmas 2006. Lucky I am in again. Chronic Investors mentioned SEY in an article last week.
I was expecting a few to jump on board. (DNX doing well).

25p by end Feb.

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2005 14:02 - 5225 of 7811

nam - yes pound by christamas, that was before the placing to cover the Mauritanian Government deal.

(8% of total production to Sterling!!!).

That put a dampener on the sp till now, I think that will also be the reason this stock finds it so hard now to move forward.

Not many have taken the time to understand the deal, and those who see the figures still don't believe it yet.

This will be over a pound by Chritmas 2006 provided the deal remains as is now and the Company remains independent and oil around $45.

Not much to hope for, the question I ask myself is do I sell all on any forthcoiming spike in the sp, or hold onto a few.

No ramp, this is the future as I see it.

namreh3 - 08 Nov 2005 14:56 - 5226 of 7811

SWW

The question as to sell on the spike is the perennial problem of the small retail shareholder.
Personally I sell approx 50% of my short term holding on a run up to the resistance level peak, in advance of a minor retreat when I buy back in again if the circumstances appear conducive to a stabilising environment followed by uplift.

I will be dipping in and out (up to the 50% level) short term until the effect of Feb 2006 is more certain, but will stay in the other 50% as a long term punt until at least Feb 2007 -- barring terminal news (or takeover)

Hope you got out early on the HNR dip from 90p+ to low 80's.

Regards.

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2005 15:26 - 5227 of 7811

Actually you may have noticed that I have not posted there (HNR) for a while, because I am out although I do still track it.

I was playing with profit and decided it was better off here, that was after Tevet2 stuck the top layer of Tevet 1 oil again.

I don't feel inclined to go back in at all.

Sterling has the better deal at the moment and I could not see any point in being double risked in the way I was with Sterling and Hardman any longer.

I am very critical of the selection of targets this drill round, very unimpressive.

There are more to be drilled in areas outside of Sterling's remit after Labeidna, so I feel protected beyond that.

I know things can change quickly but, I am prepared to let that go this time.

seawallwalker - 10 Nov 2005 15:49 - 5231 of 7811

Anyone aware or seen the EVO note with a 50p price target for next year?

Andy - 10 Nov 2005 16:32 - 5232 of 7811

SWW,

No, But i'd be grateful to receive a copy if anyone has one.

proptrade - 10 Nov 2005 17:12 - 5233 of 7811

i have a PT note with a 120p target if anyone is interested?

seawallwalker - 10 Nov 2005 17:16 - 5234 of 7811

Nearer to the truth I think, but when?

What's the target date?

I see your hand is still crossed with silver.........

Lucky heather anyone?

Dr Square - 10 Nov 2005 17:26 - 5235 of 7811

Don`t know if this is the one refered to September 23rd note

Sensitivity using an oil price of $50/bbl (five year forward curve) raises our core
NAV from 19p/share to 26p/share, and core plus risked EMV to nearer 50p/share

regards

seawallwalker - 10 Nov 2005 23:47 - 5236 of 7811

That'll be it square.

Thanks.

On wards and upwards dear freind.

proptrade - 13 Nov 2005 23:18 - 5237 of 7811

good weekend?

Pond Life - 15 Nov 2005 07:18 - 5238 of 7811

Interesting to read the Premier take on the latest drilling update - slight difference in emphasis to the Hardman report. The dreaded words 'plugged and abandoned'.

Premier Oil PLC

15 November 2005

PREMIER OIL PLC

('Premier')

Mauritania Drilling Update

Premier reports the following in relation to its operations in PSC Area B
offshore Mauritania.

The 'Stena Tay' rig drilled Labeidna-1 to the final total depth of 3080 metres
where the acquisition of wireline logs, including downhole pressure measurements
and fluid sampling, commenced.

A preliminary evaluation of these data indicates that the well intersected an
oil-bearing interval comprising an interbedded series of thin sands and
claystones. Late on 14 November 2005, the collection of oil samples was
underway. Additional wireline logs will be acquired to quantify the significance
of this discovery. A further announcement will be made when this analysis has
been completed.

Following wireline logging, the well will be plugged and abandoned as planned.

Good to note in the Hardman announcement that the Berg Helene has arrived on station.

namreh3 - 15 Nov 2005 13:02 - 5239 of 7811

Pondy

It appears PMO is doing 'well' today on update after the sell off yesterday, but SEY is having a minor sell day. A few panickers no doubt.

Nam

seawallwalker - 15 Nov 2005 14:01 - 5240 of 7811

Well, you never know, when they drilled Chingueti, they thought they had not much............

Now look!

Keep hoping.
