rooandu - 20 Sep 2004 08:26 - 521 of 1258

Good morning all.

Perhaps we'll get to hear some good news this week regarding drilling situation at ST?!

I'm a long term PCI holder and have no intention of changing my position...... I've full confidence in PCI's short, mid and long term potential and as a great optimist...............PCI will find oil at ST and lots of it!!!!!!

PCI will move in its own time, when it's ready...........it's not a case of if but when...........all we need is patience and resilience.....

We will get there and we shall be rewarded :-)

Twenty five straight buys with one sell this morning mainly in small investor amounts. The IC effect? Who cares as long as they go up.

chinapete - 20 Sep 2004 09:56 - 524 of 1258

250,000 and 500,000 just gone on with "L" by the side and a forward time, and at 14.25p. Could someone explain please.

m100 - 20 Sep 2004 10:05 - 525 of 1258

(re price - I refer to my earlier comments - the price has been pushed down for a buying spree - expected pre drilling news? - probably see some large buys shortly)

cyclist - 20 Sep 2004 10:09 - 526 of 1258

The 2 trades marked "L" are Late Trades, if you look at the times (level 2) you will see that they are 12.56.17 & 15.28.58, and therefore relate to last Friday.

Thanks cyclist.

Looks as if the 250k seller is still around. I think the T trade for 250k was a sell. Down .5p and with some decent buying as well, crap day all round here.

chinapete - 20 Sep 2004 19:50 - 530 of 1258

On the 17th a lot more were sold than bought ( about 900k)

Was a price drop likely today because the MM's were stuffed with them and would have been offering a keen price to get rid of them, or doesn't it work like that. About 600k were sold today. So tomorrow could be another mediocre day unless there are a lot of buyers, which there could be considering the low price.

Incidentally, I don't want to be a party pooper, and I am sweating on these like the rest of you, but we seem to be putting a lot of faith in a drilling announcement rise. I note that this has not happened with PanAndean Resources, who are now actually drilling on three very exiting prospects.

I'm sweating on those as well!

Nothing is guaranteed!

m100 - 21 Sep 2004 08:27 - 531 of 1258

a healthy sweat is good for a man! (or woman)
hmm, likewise ... keep the faith!

m100 - 21 Sep 2004 10:15 - 532 of 1258

this is just plain ridiculous...any explanation?

Kivver - 21 Sep 2004 10:57 - 533 of 1258

bad news could be afoot and those in the know selling up

m100 - 21 Sep 2004 11:16 - 534 of 1258

with a buy recommnedation recently a bit surprising ..anyone contacted pci?
a few buys in there? not getting out now - not worth it! - gut feel think its being manipulated..

Kivver - 21 Sep 2004 11:21 - 535 of 1258

lack of news does not help, im also staying in, it always was an all or nothing share.

Kivver - 21 Sep 2004 11:21 - 536 of 1258

perhaps no news is good news

chinapete - 21 Sep 2004 11:30 - 537 of 1258

Frightening isn't it.

What bad news could there be? If it's being manipulated - which is quite a likely explanation - whoever is doing it can't keep it up forever. They must be doing it in order to buy cheaply on the expectation of a rise, which is when we benefit. Are the string of 250,000 sells an attempt to panic the small investor and drive the price down in order to buy back lower down to benefit from the drilling RNS expected this week?

I'm holding. It's only money - not something important like people or your health.

chinapete - 21 Sep 2004 11:48 - 538 of 1258

Seems to have stabilized at 13.59 sell and 14.14 buy with my broker.

Just a thought. I am hoping to sell about 75% of my holding on a rise from 15.3 in order to cut the risk of a dry well. If one or more of the big players feels over exposed and has bought at a much lower price they could be doing the same thing right now.

It's the reason why I'm not expecting the pre-results price to go over 18p.

rooandu - 21 Sep 2004 11:49 - 539 of 1258

Bad news???........they haven't even started drilling yet!!!!

advfn PCI BB has some sound explanations for the fall.........makes a lot of sense esp traidemark 9255, rafboy 9256, derek 9262.

grevis2 - 21 Sep 2004 12:00 - 540 of 1258

Morning all. Still no news on the oil rig I see. Have had a look at the Austrian's website (OMV.com) but there is no news on there. Would suggest that OMV has yet to release the rig to PCI. That's the trouble with sharing rigs; just have to wait until the other fella has finished. As to PCI's share price, you only have to look at the graph for mid August to see we have been here before and the sharp upward movement afterwards. Enjoy the ride!
