Up nearlly 15% today and I beleive there could be more to come.
Evil Knievil has tipped it on EvilCast and has bought in 100,000 worth of stock a notifiable interest. He rates the management very highly and says they are attracting all the big bookmakers to the online casino site including punters the likes of William Hill, Chandler, and Ladbrokes. The company are now running at a profit every month and should break into a yearly profit from the years previous loss very soon. The company also ownes in partnership with a Swiss firm Boss another casino site and by all accounts that is doing well.
Im looking at this one as a momentum play pretty high risk as there are competitors out there but I feel the management will give it the edge.
Please DYOR, and remember you are responsible for your own buying and selling actions.
cheers GF.

I don't have a problem with a company having a diverse portfolio and agree with your comments. What I do have a problem is the phrase" Then be placed in private hands". Now to me that means the Directors are thinking of using share holders money to buy assets to be held by a 3rd party. What is meant by private hands. This does concern me and further clarification is required, if it happens at all.

Opps won't do that again. Just got a slagging off from the other place. Looks like I wandered into their playground. Jackthetrader should change his name to Jackthetosser, much more appropriate.
Results due 14th and EGM 29th to request authorised share capital be increased by and other 100 mil shares. Now why would they want to do that so soon after the last lot of 71 mil.

So can we assume that Evil's price of 60p has been forgotten for the time being? I'm beginning to think Dil may be right to pull his money out until September time as we maybe in for a flat summer. Anyone else thinking of taking profits?

Hi Jimmy, suspicious because Evil or Winnie jump immediatly on anything which is untrue or damaging to any of their investments. Im told the post is still there and also appears on the general thread aswell.
cheers GF. PS, Evil gives out his friday trading update this afternoon so we might get something there.

mickeyskint, the placing in private hands could merely refer to a casino being run by another company that is already registered to carry out such business activities. GMC would stump up the capital, another company runs it and pays royalties to the company that owns it. The company that runs it has all the hassle vetting employees, complying with local and government conditions etc and the owners keep taking the commission. Almost like a franchise.

I held some but could not see all the sells going through so just sold to be on the safer side, especially holdind mmg,so its better to take a hit on one but not two.lets hope its not the case for gmc holders.

Providing GMC hold title to the property I wouldn't have a problem. The new Director that has been appointed came from London Clubs, which have 2 casino's closed for refurbishment. Perhaps this could be a link. I wish I was Mystic Meg.
If they do buy it will almost certainly be an exsisting set up.

Excuse my ignorance i dont have level 2...if theres so much selling going on why is the share price remaining stagnant, is it the institutions moping up the small investors? Why would they be so willing to do this if a big share dilution is on the cards, please explain?

blackbelt, there are only 39 trades today (just over 1m shares sold) that I can see which averages out at less than 4000 per trade, quite small volume compared with previous experience of GMC. Not a lot to get excited about.

Hey all, I've a thought on the appointment which seems to be overlooked so far. The new director will obviously have some contacts, notably still at LCI. Here's my thinking. LCI have a large number of overseas clients, far east, middle east etc who may not be able to get here that often. These visits attract large, large amounts being gambled, especially by middle east visitors. Is it not possible that the Drummonds are thinking of selling to certain casino's their own i.e. LCI "internet" gambling site, and that the new appointment has the ability to open the doors to other clubs? If I were in this line of business (which I'm not) it would certainly make sense to me to at least explore the opportunity. In theory there is no reason why each casino cannot attract additional income for which GMC attract a royalty, or direct commission based upon takings......
That said, I think it should be watched closely and I'm ready to jump....
LOL all those holding.

This is a nervey time for GMC holders but I for one am holding long term, the market seems to have responded to the latest newsfeeds reasonably ok so although I'm not inspired I'm not too concerned. More deep breathes and less knicker twisting for me :o)
Good luck all holders.
