More tea Vicar? Sherry trifle made with lemon drizzle cake, now there's a thought!

STORMCALLER - 09 Jul 2005 00:49 - 5782 of 24230

Late again, but then I have lots to do..:-) Had to make the effort though as it is FRIDAY (well almost..oops)
Real reason is more pleasing, as often happens somewhere, in the aftermath of disaster, we have a new baby in the family, my cousin's daughter gave birth to a son this morning.

DP VIN...Definitely..Cheers :-)))

Priscilla
You are so very nice, thank you. I bet you would even give someone your last Rolo. Isn't DYS doing well, just the ticket.

Good morning all (anyone). Am off to the Three Choirs vineyard near Newent for short excursion today, I might just "accidently" forget to take my wallet with me. No. 1 daughter here for a short break and has never seen the Cotswolds so the grand tour starts here.

Breakfast? Just a bowl of gruel and a cup of tea.

optomistic - 09 Jul 2005 09:38 - 5784 of 24230

Bit warm for gruel Socs, I'll just have fresh orange juice then cereal.
Have a great day out, you have a lovely part of the country to tour.

chocolat - 09 Jul 2005 16:08 - 5785 of 24230

Great news for your family Stormie!
Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend :)

Socrates - 10 Jul 2005 09:46 - 5786 of 24230

Very warm here today, might just have to hide in the hammock. Iced tea anyone?

optomistic - 10 Jul 2005 10:11 - 5787 of 24230

Morning Socs, iced tea would be nice for a change......before the trip to ASDA :-(

little willie - 10 Jul 2005 21:19 - 5788 of 24230

No-one about here tonight but have heard about bombings and on going through postings see no sign of our Jessie the "tea making Banker".

Does anyone know if he's ok as he works in the City and it seems strange he's been absent.

Expect he's ok as he probably has a personal chauffeur but guess I shouldn't jest just in case; where are you Jessie????

daves dazzlers - 10 Jul 2005 21:47 - 5789 of 24230

Socrates - 10 Jul 2005 23:09 - 5792 of 24230

I'm not ignoring anyone, I'm still here tucked away in my air conditioned hammock. I have it turned down cool to stop my Chocolat(e) from melting away.

daves dazzlers - 11 Jul 2005 07:13 - 5793 of 24230

jj50 - 11 Jul 2005 11:58 - 5795 of 24230

Morning all. Do we have an ice maker in this place?

Long, cool glass of water .........

Why do boys still feel hungry in the heat :-)

stockbunny - 11 Jul 2005 12:17 - 5796 of 24230

LOL JJ who knows but they do! ;>)
The only thing that keeps me sane is the fact that mine don't have
an adversion to eating 'rabbit food' so at least it's nice and simple.
I'm actually heading off for a while to eat myself, sees you
before or around 2pm! :>)

STORMCALLER - 11 Jul 2005 14:24 - 5797 of 24230

Flying visit to drop off bottle of VERY chilled Cab Sauv, in case bunny (who is late back..:-) ) and jj50 might like to drink a toast to our new infant!

Must Dash!

jj50 - 11 Jul 2005 15:07 - 5798 of 24230
