I like the drink and the project intrigues.
Overall, though, there's stuff to produce in Texas, but let's not get carried away. It's probably the most mature province in the world and finding / producing large ain't possible.
What EME, like all small outfits, really needs now is cashflow from production or selling finds on. It can't keep haemorraging (spelling?) money like this forever.

Big Al : that is one of the problem with the RNS as is does not mention how much the farm-in costs. This may well give them production in the near term but would like to know at what cost to EME.

EME is now into Margarita Project...this is a joke. This management really can't concentrate on what they are doing. Sugarloaf is hanging in the air waiting for appropriate equipment, and now they are in the margarita project. Surely they could foresee what equipments are needed - very amateurish organisation
I think they are trying to divert attention from Sugarloaf....maybe non-commercial.
AVOID EME!

Because a company lets its investers know what it is buying into then they are doing it to divert attention from other things.

don't particularly agree with hyleo's logic, but sure as hell agree with him that this share is for fools and horses only ...... the company has disappointed far too often to warrant support, though that does not prevent many a lemming from diving in in hope ..... or even hanging on when everything dictates otherwise (qv SEO) in the vain or vague hope that all will come right in the end ...... it rarely does!

Hi Maestro, do you think its going to rocket because the've got rid of Saddam? I think that because of the political and unstable situation in Iraq at the moment, this is a stock that one can afford to miss out on, as there is going to be an enourmous risk trying to bring it home. What does anyone else think.

I see it banged off 48p briefly on Friday. Wonder if there's support or whether we're heading for 30p again.

Latest drilling from EME:
AIM quoted Empyrean Energy PLC today announces that operations are ongoing on
the El Viejito Prospect on Project Margarita, South Texas, USA.
Current well depth at 07.00 hours Australian WST, Tuesday 9 January 2007 El
Viejito #1 is 1,129 metres.
Basal Frio and Vicksburgh targets are below 1,524 metres. It is expected that

break and a crew changeover following the break. All programmed wells are being
drilled on a turnkey basis at a fixed price for the joint venture and any costs
over the fixed price due to drilling delays are to the contractor's account.
A further update will be made on completion of the well program.

The announcement below certainly says a lot about the company. EME just send out RNS without checking. And inaccuracies to phone numbers, I thought those are basics to running a company. I guess they don't communicate much with their Conduit PR or HB-corporate. Poor management.
