The Oxus Group was established in 1996 and quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in London in 2001.

Oxus Gold plc is a UK based international mining group with gold mining interests in Central Asia. Oxus is the joint owner (50/50) with the government of Uzbekistan of Amantaytau Goldfields (AGF) which is developing several mining operations in the Tien Shan gold belt near Zarafshan.

The first mine was constructed and commissioned by Oxus in January 2004 on time and within budget and commercial production began the following month. AGF has since produced more than 270,000 ounces of gold to the end of September 2005 and is now producing at the planned rate of 151,000 onces per annum.

I went a bit mad and bought in when they were peanuts which brought my av down to 3.8p b/e,but thought it was a dead dog. Still cannot see why there are oh be joyfuls as hell of a way to go unless some sort of a deal has been brokered which could send them soaring!!!

I've sold...perhaps too early...did not get as much as hoped.....will be back later.....good one to trade but mighty risky......pleased still the same.....might carry on rising but I cannot watch all the time....

Whatever ground breaking news that Maestro has does not seemed to have filtered through to the rest of the market!!! Lol!!!

Just disposed @ .03 a parcel that cost me 0.014, happy with that, the rest I bought in 2010 @ circa 10p they can sit and fester for another year or so!!

See, as soon as I ditch a load of mine everybody shouts, Yippee! he's out it must be time to buy!! Lol!!!
