OK so you thought the title of the other thread was out of date BUT unfortunately there is no way to edit thread titles.

So here is a new title

This one has got the charts at the top again & has a link to the old one.

Agree, good day for OXB today and a new high for the year :-)

LDettori - 15 Jun 2005 21:55 - 742 of 1451

Big US buying today - I don't think they will be selling soon. Bodes well for the near future.

nutan - 16 Jun 2005 11:54 - 743 of 1451

looking good again.

apple - 16 Jun 2005 12:36 - 744 of 1451

Up about 20% since the last buying opportunity on 1st June.

Very satisfying but it must be due for some consolidation soon.

robstuff - 16 Jun 2005 15:17 - 745 of 1451

There's a lot of talk about another bubbly rally in tech stocks which bodes well for OXB as they're on of the more quality stocks in the sector.

todays : Financial Times

Bid speculation returned to Oxford Biomedica, up 6 per cent to a three year high of 35p. Genentech, Johnson Johnson and Pfizer have all been linked with a move for the biotechnology company

a bidding war perhaps?

Oakapples142 - 17 Jun 2005 09:09 - 748 of 1451

Oh no I dont like wars - someone always comes out very rich !!

pachandl - 17 Jun 2005 12:41 - 749 of 1451

I'm all in favour of wars if I come out rich - unlikely though.

Oakapples142 - 17 Jun 2005 14:09 - 750 of 1451

Thank indeed was my sentiment pachandl

1704 - 17 Jun 2005 18:22 - 751 of 1451

Evening All!

Feeling pretty smug today. I forecast that the
sp would reach 35p by mid-march 05. Although I
was out by a couple of months its pleasing to
see it come true. Its good to see the old gang
still posting messages on this BB.

Appologies for being off topic but if anyone has
any spare cash have a look at AMU (not a biotech
but worth a look).

Finally a word of advice watch what you post with
queen 1 using this BB. Have a look at the
Yoomedia (YOO) today and you will know what I mean.
She tells it as she sees it. My type of person.

All the Best and be lucky.

queen1 - 17 Jun 2005 19:31 - 752 of 1451

1704 - I'm a little confused. By all means look on the YOO thread today but I've not been on. And to be fair, I'm not sure that I've seen you on there at all. Perhaps 1704 is actually another name for....who I wonder?

1704 - 17 Jun 2005 20:25 - 753 of 1451

Appologies to everyone else for being off topic:

queen1

Appologies I should have said the 14/06/05 rather
than today. I was looking on the BB of YOO today as
am very tempted to buy in after the large dip yesterday.
I think the company could be a good long-term speculative
buy.

I have not bothered to make any posts on the BB as I have
not bought into the stock and I usually like to comment
when I have a holding (personal preference). I think I
should have bought in yesterday at 3-3.5p but hesitated
to do so. If the opportunity presents itself again next
week will probably do so.

Cannot remember why I chose 1704 as my user name as I use
my middle name on the ADVFN website. Must of had a bit
to much brandy to drink at the time.

All the Best.

queen1 - 17 Jun 2005 20:58 - 754 of 1451

Ah, the 14th of the 6th. Now that brings back memories. Me indeed. Glad this thread is a might friendlier than that of YOO. I have declined to comment further there due to the personal nature of some of the "posts" but glad you're considering YOO. It will make money for all, eventually.

Back to OXB, great week I think all would agree.

1704 - 17 Jun 2005 21:14 - 755 of 1451

queen 1

I agree with your comments about the Yoo thread
the one on ADVFN is not much better either.
This thread has got to be one of the friendliest
around.

It certainly has been a good week for OXB and there
should still be some more upside to come. Things
are certainly hotting up and I don't mean just the
weather. Ya get me!

Have a good weekend all.

queen1 - 17 Jun 2005 23:30 - 756 of 1451

And to you 1704. And let's hope next week continues in the same vein as this for OXB.

queen1 - 18 Jun 2005 10:39 - 757 of 1451

I confess that I'm a little confused. The idiot dishing out the personal abuse on the YOO thread goes by the name of Dil. I am assured, 1704, that although you were "warning" posters on this thread about me (why, I still don't know) from seeing me on the YOO thread, you yourself do not post on it. And let's be fair. Dil and 1704 are totally different names are they not. And quite unusual to boot.

So, imagine my surprise this morning when I glanced down the Champion Investor league table in Shares Mag and saw a player by the name of dil1704. Now, what an amazing coincidence. Dil and 1704 as one player. Very interesting. Any comments Dil/1704 or does the evidence in black and white speak for itself? Imagine that - the same person on two threads causing mishief. It's just not cricket now is it. Of course, I could be wrong...

Ainslie7 - 19 Jun 2005 22:40 - 758 of 1451

welldone queen1.like your style

queen1 - 20 Jun 2005 08:59 - 759 of 1451

Why thank you Ainslie7 - they don't call me Sherlock for nothing you know!

1704 - 20 Jun 2005 11:20 - 760 of 1451

Queen 1

Sherlock you most definetly are not. More like
Miss Marple.

I can assure you I most definetly am not Dil or
anyone else. The only name/number I have used on
the moneyam website is 1704. Please check with
whoever runs this the website if you don't believe me.

I only mentioned your comments on the Yoo thread as
tonue-in-cheek joke. I agreed with the points that you
raised and how you stuck to your guns in making your point.
