Fever-Tree is the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers for alcoholic spirits by retail sales value, with distribution to approximately 50 countries internationally.
Based in the UK, the brand was launched in 2005 by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow to provide high quality, natural mixers which could accompany the growing demand for premium spirits. The Group now sells a range of 12 differentiated flavours to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes ("On Trade") as well as supermarkets and off-licenses for retail purchase ("Off Trade"). Approximately 70 per cent. of the Group's sales were derived from outside of the UK in FY13 with the key overseas markets being the US, Spain, and Belgium.
The Group's mixers are designed to be accompaniments for alcoholic spirits or used in cocktails, although they can also be consumed on their own. Since 2005, the Company has launched at least one new product a year, which includes 4 variants of tonic water, 2 variants of ginger beer, 3 variants of lemonade, and one variant each of ginger ale, soda water and cola.

Shares today - The fact that the share price has now surpassed the broker’s discounted cash flow (DCF)-derived price target of 472p, upgraded from 395p, perhaps poses a question for investors.
Fevertree’s valuation certainly looks punchy following a breathless run, with the shares now swapping hands for more than forty times forecast earnings. That said, Shares is in agreement with Investec’s ‘buy’ rating, excited by the growth to come given the brand’s growing global traction.

Is It Too Late To Buy 2015 Winners Fevertree Drinks PLC (+205%), AFC Energy plc (+251%) & OptiBiotix Health PLC (+280%)?
By Motley Fool | Tue, 10th November 2015 - 16:25
Fevertree Drinks (LSE:FEVR), AFC Energy (LSE:AFC) and OptiBiotix Health (LSE:OPTI) have posted stunning gains so far this year. But is there more to come from these three big winners?
Fevertree Drinks
Fevertree is a relatively young company, having been founded in 2005, but is already able to describe itself as "the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers for alcoholic spirits by retail sales value, with distribution to over 50 countries worldwide".
Fevertree listed on London's junior AIM market this time last year at 134p a share, and is currently trading at a new high of 530p, valuing the company at over £600m. The share price rise for the year to date is +205%.
In a trading update last week, Fevertree said both UK and international sales have been encouraging during the second half of the year, "driven by distribution gains which have come through earlier than anticipated in our existing markets". In light of this performance, "the Board anticipates that the results for the full year will be materially ahead of Board expectations".
Analysts have been busy upgrading their forecasts. However, even optimistic earnings of 12p a share would put Fevertree on a fizzy price-to-earnings ratio of 44.
The global trend to greater premiumisation undoubtedly plays into Fevertree's hands, but the current rating of the company appears well up with events. Furthermore, I'm mindful that young "on-trend" companies are prone to the occasional stumble as they grow, which can really hammer their highly-rated shares.

logic says that mentor's latest is correct
however, similar prognostications were made in april and may, but events proved them dramatically wrong
i confess to being similarly bearish - perhaps more so - about ASC, but that continues to confound albeit at <50% of its high
with regard to FEVR, its quality product and high-end market penetration cannot be denied ..... but nor can it be denied that nothing goes heavenwards for ever
nevertheless, it is almost as hard to believe that FEVR will remain independent into the far blue yonder

How long will the likes of britvic and schweppes sit back and watch their market share decline? I would suggest to have taken a good wedge off the table by now and ride along and see what happens.
