Morning all, its hot here today about 33C, we are leaving Brisbane today for a few days in a place up in the Lamington National Park (which will please Lambykins).

Finally went to see the doc today and got some antibiotics, Doc thinks i have an infection so hopefully the antibiotics will clear it up, I am a bit fedup coughing all night and not being able to sleep.

Back in a few days when I next get internet access..... How did we ever do without the internet?

Evening Fundy, just saw on Sky news they were forecasting -10C in the UK.

Indeed - theres snow all down the east coast and freezing cold everywhere - squirted the de-icer on the car this morning and it froze!!!

im sat watching the cricket from Melbourne at the mo - weather looks far nicer your end

Melboune was about 33C yesterday but i think its cooled down a bit now, I prefer it to be a few degrees cooler say 25-28C, apparently Lamington will be 5-10C cooler so if thats true it will be right where i like it!

1200 here and time to checkout. Hope you all survive the cold snap.

Morning all - weird this morning, no frost but looked like black ice...horrible combination, if you're on the roads take care folks.

Don't worry Spacie we'll all survive the cold snap, got this place triple insulated
and piles of wood for the fire, plus enough turkey in reserve to feed a small army.

spot on stormie. Actually I had some extra cold guinness yesterday and it was too cold, set my teeth on edge. I had to switch to the regular.

Dont worry about me bunny, I'm allways a happy soul, just take life as it comes.

Hello all, I bet you thought I had emigrated or something similar. Actually I lost my internet connection and my cable TV on 23rd and it has taken till today to get it back. Problem was caused by a thingy under the pavement outside. Now fixed and at last I can see who is about and what is happening.

Here's hoping you all had a peaceful and jolly Christmas and will have an equally, if not better, new year.
