on the basis that many bears will want to take their profits before any drilling result, sp is likely to rise, perhaps significantly at that time ..... therefore not a bad plan to sell at least partial holdings into that rally

Borders up today.....goodo......you never know ....might come incredibly right.......with the gas result last time in a remote location....who knows what lays ahead....I'm convinced that a lot more hydrocarbons are out there waiting to be discovered......would do wonders for the UK's trade figures......the area is huge....I wouldn't be surprised if the seismics have missed some big targets so vast in sea acreage is this part of the world....one target with Darwin...two with Stebbing...five with Loligo and I think three with Scotia and two with Nimrod.....(not sure with the numbers there)....but something like that.....

Should be drilling ahead from Monday and into the shallower of the target zones later next week.

At the moment doing safety checks on the BOP and looking good to be drilling ahead Monday - at which point rig will go into "silent" mode---- no comms.

I wonder how our man on the rig is doing...hope he has that satellite phone at the ready !....

Sorry Pro no safty checks on BOP,BOP has problems the rig is out of action for a while,parts were flown in Yesterday.

New parts to comply with safety requirements ok now it seems, as I posted earlier looks like it will be drilling ahead from Monday again.

First target will be not long, and the second a while later. Expect completion of operations around 7th July.

New parts because certain things had broken no other reason, rig still not drilling.

Any parts that are fitted have to comply with health and safety.nice spin though pro.

Re: Results next week Wouldn't worry about the weekend. There have been further delays on the rig owing to continued problems with the BOP. This has been for over a week now. Parts are thought to have come in on the flight yesterday. The original wrap up date before the problems with the BOP had been 29th June. GL M. Morani

Morani confirms issue resolved. That means drilling ahead now - and look, its Monday :) Who said they be DA on Monday ?? ;)

Latest stock on loan chart.

No surprise the share price has been going up as the stock on loan to shorters is reducing.

MrP - as a trade, you may well be correct ..... when are meaningful results or even an rns expected?

cynic, only started drilling ahead again Monday. That would suggest possibly into the first target late next week ?

Whether that will signal an RNS or whether they will wait until both the targets are drilled, who knows.

I would suggest they will wait for both targets to be drilled, so end of the month, but the share price might give away the results of the first reservoir well before any official RNS.

the order book is still slightly skewed in favour of sellers, so there is no obvious reason to jump in ..... also, don't be surprised to see heavy selling into any meaningful rally across the markets

Should be drilling into the 1st target zone sometime this week, if not already.
