I notice from the Colombo Mirror this morning that the visit of "Kool and the Gang" is big news in Sri Lanka, it seems that they are the only western group to play here for some time.

optomistic, I wish, I love travel for holidays but I hate it for work its all airport taxi hotel taxi office taxi hotel taxi office taxi airport etc.

This time I managed to get the girfiend to come over for the weekend and telling her we would go somewhere outside Colombo on Saturday and Sunday, this bribe has cost me 550 for her airfare and about another 350 for a hotel in Galle and she is onlly here for 4 days.

Oh heck Spacie, hope she doesn't get used to joining you on your journeys.

Final Kool and the Gang update, I just walked through the Hotel lobby and I saw KATG checking out, obviously I had to pretend I didn't recognise them, seem they are jetting off to another music hotspot, Hungary....
