As it's lunchtime......rns not yet gone around.....effects felt tomorrow.....

kimoldfield - 23 Apr 2015 16:29 - 943 of 1468

60p is the next milestone. Bring it on!

required field - 23 Apr 2015 18:03 - 944 of 1468

Might jump tomorrow morning ......a few pennies anyway as people will now be aware of another commercial order.....very...very promising.....this might hit 100p way before the end of the year if these latest rns's are anything to go by.....one of the best shares this year no doubt in terms of performance and the AFC staff are really working hard !....great stuff.....my best share for ages.....

Surprised this isn't higher yet.....

At last....wakey...wakey....

cynic - 24 Apr 2015 11:22 - 948 of 1468

i really can't make my mind up about this one - eg does it have medium/long-term legs or is it still just so much hype which will come crashing back to earth

having taken profits in 50% of my DOM sipp holding (that's been a cracker) and put some of those proceeds in topping up TEF (worth looking at), there's still a small lump of cash to play with
hmm!

HARRYCAT - 24 Apr 2015 11:37 - 949 of 1468

Regret I have taken profit this morning as need the cash elsewhere.
Only had £2k's worth so not a major holder and would have been happy to let it ride for a while as every RNS sees a rise in the sp. Not sure the technology is appealing to the average investor yet (can think of a number of similar stocks which have gone nowhere), but this one seems to be the darling atm.

This is my biggest investment .......can't say how much......very pleased and there will be more contracts coming : this is a worldwide thing now !....

HARRYCAT - 24 Apr 2015 13:13 - 951 of 1468

Don't forget to take some profit along the way rf. Nothing keeps going up forever........stating the bleeding obvious!

required field - 24 Apr 2015 13:18 - 952 of 1468

Already did around 40p......regretted it.....bought back....this looks like a longterm riser...but where the spikes are going to be is anybody's guess....if the good-news rns's keep coming it will be fantastic...

HARRYCAT - 24 Apr 2015 13:52 - 953 of 1468

Regretted taking profit???.....well if you really don't want it I am sure i can find a good home for it! ;o)

required field - 24 Apr 2015 17:40 - 954 of 1468

Only because now it is hovering around 50p......the news has been excellent so far.....the company could become a mid-cap the way it's going.....worth many times the present market value....difficult to maximise every spike but there is a big difference between 40p and todays closing 49p....20% more by my calculations.....can't wait for the next rns....

Showing resilience.......up a touch on a red day.....

greekman - 29 Apr 2015 08:58 - 956 of 1468

May be scaremongering, but!

Headline in Telegraph Business today is G20 Fears Fossil Fuels Debt Crunch.

The article is looking at the possibility of the financial risks to fossil fuel companies should their costly ventures clash with climate goals.

G20 will look at the concerns that a $6 Trillion wave of investment is based on false assumptions that may never pay for itself, leaving companies with massive debts.

All G20 member countries including the USA, China, India, Russia, Astralia and Saudi Arabia have agreed to an enquiry.

MY View and no doubt of many other on this thread.............

As we all know, an ever present threat to investments in power is the possibility of an alternative power source taking the place of present fuels.

Whilst these new sources do come along, it always takes time to get to production (AFC a good example) therefore things as we know do not change over night with both the new source taking a similar time to come to fruition to the fazing out of the power source it is replacing.

Taking oil, coal for an example.

I am sure we all accept that sometime in the future both fuels will become redundant, but what will take it's place, wind (will get cheaper, but will take years if ever to be cost efficient) wave and solar power being similar.

As for fuel cells, again will take time, but looking at AFC's present figures re efficiency v cost things are looking very good indeed, as to the future, baring any unexpected problems their fuel cells can only get more efficient and therefore more cost effective.

With the ever increasing search for efficient carbon neutral power/energy AFC could become the world leader not just in fuel cells, but in the lead for an alternative clean, efficient power/energy source, not forgetting the additional benefits, re heat and water.

Its a good read, if you can find it on the internet.

skinny - 29 Apr 2015 09:04 - 957 of 1468

Is this it? G20 to probe 'carbon bubble' risk to global financial system

greekman - 29 Apr 2015 09:06 - 958 of 1468

Yes, thanks Skinny.

required field - 29 Apr 2015 09:08 - 959 of 1468

If that is correct....in time you could add a zero to the end of the sp.....or even two...

required field - 29 Apr 2015 19:58 - 960 of 1468

Gone unnoticed...is crude up again....the more that stays up : the better for AFC...
