i'm not very convinced by this company, but am disinclined to crystalise the modest loss still showing ..... i'll keep my fingers crossed; safer than holding breath

Petroceltic are about to start in Algeria again and also farm in worth some hundreds of millions. They are also going into the rich fields of Kurdistan I believe. Cheap at 11p.
But what about this Tunisia drill?

Oil and gas company Petroceltic said preparations for the 2010/2011 Ain Tsila field appraisal campaign in Algeria, due to start in November, were progressing well.
Civil engineering works had been completed at the AT-4 well location and the site was ready to receive the rig for the start of drilling.
However, at the Ksar Hadada permit in Tunisia, the Sidi Toui-4 exploration well is to be plugged and abandoned after the oil saturation and reservoir fracturation was found to be insufficient to justify testing.
CEO Brian O'Cathain said the results of the studies on Ain Tsila field work so far were extremely encouraging. The company looked forward to confirming additional gas in place and the likely recoverable reserves.
While the outcome of the ST-4 exploration well was disappointing, the extensive modern logging data collected would now be used to high-grade the remaining prospect inventory for the permit.
Petroceltic would review all the data collected from the well before making a decision on whether to continue with further exploration on the Ksar Hadada block.
