The market is playing silly burgers again with the sp again.
A level playing field my arris, I would bet good money that there will be a big order to fill sometime this week.
How the hell can a RNS such as todays warrant a fall in the sp, surely there is no way on earth that the company can be valued at a lower valuation after said RNS than before it, and remember the result of power output from one single cartridge was better than expected.
We can only be thankful that the power output was not 10 times as expected otherwise the sp would have dropped further.
But.........I am not worried as we all know where the sp will be in 12 months to 2 years and that is something the market can do nothing about.

I still keep my 100p end of year target.....in fact, crazy as it sounds : imagine if there were hundreds of stacks like the one in Germany !.....400p plus would be the order of the day.....we are not there yet but this looks like another GKP in terms of possible sp performance !....

sp has no doubt slipped away merely on "sell the news" syndrome ..... thus, if you believe in the product, then this could be seen as a buying opp, though certainly a share to tuck in the drawer

if your're holding long term, i guess the odd penny doesn't matter much
if the product proves good, the sp will (eventually) zipp upwards, and if the reverse, then the reverse

I thought about doing both......holding some & trading some. At present I just hold, but I have seen so many of these go badly wrong, that I am tempted to hedge my bets.

With a total lack of news regarding AFC, todays sp movement is not normal, even allowing for the usual weirdness of the AIM market.
A minute ago it dipped to 5.12p down.
What the hells happening!

Down to the levels last seen in May. What is my gut instinct telling me? Something is not right - sell! However, having gone over the RNS issued last month I picked this out -
"Operational information pertaining to the fuel cell system will now be generated over the coming months for the further validation of the system both to AFC, and its international development, manufacturing and finance partners."
So maybe my gut instinct is wrong and I should be a little more patient. I hate this share, let's hope the company can come up with something to make me love it! :o)

Hi Kimoldfield,
I think that your comment re patience is spot on.
My reasoning is that if you look back at the up/downs on the sp, the movements often make no sense at all.
I am quite sure that by year end, if all targets are met the sp will be at least 50p and with all targets so far met or been achieved early, I have no reason to doubt the managements setting of said targets.
But saying that, I do feel that we are justified to receive an update as to progress, even if it is as vague as stating that, progress is as expected and AFC have no idea why the sp is at it's current level.
The markets as us long term investors need reassurance!

Mr Adam Bond, AFC's Chief Executive Officer, said: "At this time, we wish to reassure shareholders that AFC remains on target to deliver on its key milestones announced in December 2014. We will provide further updates to the market on the KORE system at Stade and other commercial developments in the near future."
Well, MrBond must have been listening/watching!
