Pre IPO price 4p
Opening price on debut 25p
Floatation price 46p to raise 14million to extend Jolly Ranch
Current fair value estimate 114p
Market cap 70.59 million.
Value of Cisco Springs investments 98 million.
Value of Vogel investments 75 million.
Desparado trucking now Nightfox 250,000 for a 50% stake with partner Running Foxes.
Centurion Project Kansas, 150,000 for a 50% stake.
Jolly Ranch Colorado, 40,000 acres cost 356,000 for a 50% stake.
Cash in bank 7.75 million.
As this EPIC opens on AIM today anything could happen. On the one hand you have traders trying to cash in a sixfold profit. You will also have a clambering of traders after shares because, firstly they could only get 75% of their allocation because of demand. Secondly at 25p this company is still way under valued.

the recent performance of this squitty little company has been dull in the extreme in recent months ..... however, unless i am much mistaken, not only has sp suddenly come to live (pretty obvious!), but i think volumes have been unusually heavy too ..... for sure the management has been grooming the company for onward sale, and just possibly, they now have an interested party

Be interesting to see if it breaks above 40p, which looks like a level of support and resistance over the past couple of years.

Got in just before the rise and out again at 37.5p. Didn't feel the news warranted any further rise for now. Shall watch and wait.

Now that they are drilling, they should be bringing one well after another into production, it will take time but the sp will move northwards bit by bit.

There was some news in the Times last week refering to Nighthawk being a bid target.
All speculation unless an RNS comes but some guy on ii mentioned it before the media reported it,
reckons 90p offer on the table but conditional on the Jolly Ranch Craig15 well.

I've looked into this myself as one-bitten twice-shy.
There are no bids or talks at this time, none whatsoever.
And that is from someone who WILL know.
Some are too keen to shore-up their spreads I imagine.
GreatRNS, progress good, no need for fake bid nonsense.

agreed gnash - i am sure in time there will be a bid for hawk even if not now - but without a current bid hawk will continue to do well anyhow - hawk's intention is to sell in time at the right price so it will be bid for in time - that is no secret - good rns also - not surprised quiet for the moment - give it a day or two - but i am in longer term anyhow - GL
