OK so you thought the title of the other thread was out of date BUT unfortunately there is no way to edit thread titles.

So here is a new title

This one has got the charts at the top again & has a link to the old one.

The broadcast will be very positive - don't forget to tune in..

robstuff - 10 Mar 2008 12:26 - 1142 of 1451

Panmure Gordon said in a note to clients: 'Oxford BioMedica reported financial results better than our expectations, and also provided an update on timelines for key product candidates that are also better than our, and market, expectations. We expect the stock to be positive and reiterate our Buy recommendation.'

The interesting thing about the financials too is that 19m of Sanofi's milestone paymts which have been paid and non refundable have been held over to next yrs profits so in fact the net profit position (as is cash flow) is actually positive isn't it.

robstuff
Yes all looks OK still holding.

cynic - 10 Mar 2008 12:53 - 1144 of 1451

good tactical move .... payment prob received after formal y/e and could, had OXB, prob have been included but would have given a tougher target necxt year .... this gives a good starter for 10!

hangon - 14 Mar 2008 16:31 - 1145 of 1451

Frankly I'm surprised any "holding-over" policy exists ( at OXB)...
- if a payment is received it must be included. Such "cooking policy" is the Mark of a small outfit trying desperately to make EBITA figures look exciting - OXB investors await the outcome of the Trials, anticipated in 9 months', so plenty off time to pick up stock ( if you want) at lower prices, - like this summer, when folks are away on their Hols.
+Does anyone really follow the words of PG? - surely a minor Broker, more suited to sub-AIM stock?

robstuff - 16 Mar 2008 17:30 - 1146 of 1451

hangon - what price are you hoping to get in at? ;-)

robstuff - 17 Mar 2008 15:54 - 1147 of 1451

interesting - some big 1m purchases

robstuff - 18 Mar 2008 09:42 - 1148 of 1451

At least the Pru have confidence in OXB with 68m shares now or 12% of OXB!

cynic - 18 Mar 2008 10:22 - 1149 of 1451

can't work out whether that is Pru or M&G .... i know i am very thick, but it reads most confusingly

halifax - 18 Mar 2008 10:51 - 1150 of 1451

Both, M&G as you probably know is a wholly owned subsidiary of the PRU.

cynic - 18 Mar 2008 11:07 - 1151 of 1451

i know nothing!

poo bear - 18 Mar 2008 22:57 - 1152 of 1451

Time for some more refreshing honesty, lets have it elsewhere cynic!!

cynic - 19 Mar 2008 07:38 - 1153 of 1451

my views are always honest even if unpalatable to some, and i am always happy to be shot down by others where i am proved wrong .... the odd plaudit when proven right (surprisingly often) would also not go amiss

robstuff - 19 Mar 2008 16:28 - 1154 of 1451

what a load of crap! not you cynic, the sp

cynic - 19 Mar 2008 16:45 - 1155 of 1451

forgiven - lol!

robstuff - 25 Mar 2008 10:38 - 1156 of 1451

positive trial news for Trovax re Prostate cancer today!! Trovax is looking to be extremely versatile with enormous potential, the value could be Billions pa in commercial development IMO.

driver - 26 Mar 2008 14:31 - 1157 of 1451

A small bit in the D/Mail today explaining yesterdays rise.

Toya - 18 Apr 2008 10:20 - 1158 of 1451

As with Cynic's ORE: OXB looks like it's had a similar dose of Viagra today, if not a dose of its own medicine Trovax

dealerdear - 18 Apr 2008 10:25 - 1159 of 1451

We think alike Toya. About to say the same thing. Some interest in this today.

Decided to take a punt based on weakness of sp.

Mind you, it could be because I hold at a higher price lol

Toya - 18 Apr 2008 10:29 - 1160 of 1451

I'm still waiting for the price to climb back to those heady heights of 25p myself! Hopefully not too long to go.
