THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

If the country ever votes for this clueless wonder they get what they deserve.

edit - its a bit painful to watch but shows him for what he really is.

Hays,

If you haven't noticed the tories are supposed to be in power.

(I agree it is difficult to realise this )

They were supposed to have the solutions to all our problems, not causing them.)

I heard to-day that Clegg is thinking of defecting to the tory party, as he has been told there is going for party leader.

Fred
It is certainly clear that Labour didn't have any answers.

aldwickk - 18 Jul 2011 21:16 - 11686 of 81564

Its the so called clean and honest chap who has just as much to fear , maybe he doesn't want his boss to know his a cross dresser or his head master knowing his a member of the BNP

Fred1new - 18 Jul 2011 22:09 - 11687 of 81564

Hays,

Perhaps they didn't need answers. Cameron does!

Aids.

What is the fear? If he is an honest chap, whether he is "cross dresser", or member of BNP neither are criminal offences, and what is, is.

If anyone attempts to "penalise" or abuse him, because of his legitimate choice/s he would have redress in criminal and civil law.

Also, the likelihood of such information being assessed, or being utilised in present day's society is infinitesimal.

I almost forgot what a load of rubbish you post , thanks for reminding me

Hi Rawdm999,

Just viewed the Ed clip. I once knew someone who had parrot. Ed Milliband, reminded me of that parrot. the only difference is the parrot had a better range of vocabulary.
If you recorded his answer for the first question, it was almost word for word for the following questions.
I appreciate politicians rarely answer a question, but he was like a stuck record.
This must go down as one of the most pathetic Q&A sessions ever.
This man would not have got past the first round of The Apprentice', and he is hoping to become the leader of this country.
Like you said, painful to watch!

Greek

Fred1new - 19 Jul 2011 09:37 - 11691 of 81564

Aids,

Women have been cross dressing publicly for years without "stigma" or even "threatened".

Try going public, you would be quite safe!

Murdoch lies - sorry I mean live Murdochs grilled by MPs

Haystack - 19 Jul 2011 15:34 - 11700 of 81564

Chomksy is an undoubted treasure in his sphere. He has an incisive mind in his area of expertise. I have a few of his books and they make entertaining reading. Unfortunately, like so many 'famous' people, he erroneously thinks that what he is famous for gives him some role and expertise in politics. He was always pretty leftish and now seems to have gone off the deep end.

I think MM has him dead to rights; "a bit ranty".
