Hi all
pretty new to all this. I have pumped some into Deltex - looks like a strong product with good growth. Could be a steady gainer.
Does anyone else have this, and anyone have some research on it? Someone with more experience than me!
thanks in advance.

Great news ( especially if you read between the lines ).
Results are going to be better than most punters expected, especially with the NHS budget over-run being as it is.
The prospects overall look very good, as to the spread use of the CardioQ around the world.
I still think the main way forward will be the CardioQ being accepted in general use, USA and Europe with our badly run NHS playing catch up.
I still feel that once this does start to gather real momentum, it will be like the proverbial snowball...There will be no stopping it.
Let's just hope it does not take too long.

Trades already approaching 1 mil. Over last few months, there have been many days where trading has been less than this.
Good movement at last. Just hope that news releases over next few weeks will keep the momentum going.

JEREMY BATSTONE recommended these as a strong buy on Bloomberg yesterday, he said the upside was substantial.

Nice Directors buy, more than tripling his holding..

A late trade of 234516@ 23.5p that must be a buy.
If someone is willing to pay that much over the odds for a sizable stake, that 5 mill sales figure looks even better.

I believe today's volume of trading was an all-time high. 4.6 million shares, I think. Only two days have come anywhere near this in the last 12 months - one in March at about 4.3 million shares, and one later in the year above 2.5 million shares.
Is this recommendation by Jeremy Batstone anywhere on the Bloomberg web site? I've tried looking but the search tool says "nothing found". Who is Jeremy Batstone and what sorts of things was he saying?
I've been accumulating DEMG shares for the last year, and in the process also accumulating as much financial pain as I can stand. Hopefully today is the start of justifying all that.
The director's buy (chief executive, no less!) was announced after close of trading. That should do something positive to the share price tomorrow morning.

Always a good sign when shares are taken instead of cash.
Five non-executive directors have elected to take shares in lieu
of a cash payment as remuneration for their services to the Company. In
addition certain of the Company's advisors have elected to take shares in lieu
of cash payment for their services to the Company.
Shares taken at value of 21.25p.
This is a strong indication of trust not just in the product but in the potential of increased profit.

Geekman..Hope you're right..I'm a bit more cynical...We haven't really seen strong evidence of a good frequent level of biggish deals or sales... If the actual results do demonstrate improved t/o & profits to match then I think the SP will make good progress... at the moment I do feel it's still a jam tomorrow situation

Jam tomorrow?
if you look at their sales, starting at 0.8 million in 1999 (earliest figures I have) to an assumed 3.1 million in 2005, it looks very much like a steady 25% growth in turnover per annum.
1999 0.8
2000 1.0
2001 1.3
2002 1.8
2003 3.1
2004 2.4
2005 3.1
That looks like a pretty good track record.

Skyhigh,
Yes, as you say no real evidence yet re deals but I do think that after the results are released this share will climb steadily, as will sales.
Also agree, Jam tomorrow. But the Jam is looking very good.

Anyone have any comments on the acquisition of TECO? It looks interesting.
Could this be the start of a lasting rise? Something's given the share price a boost.
The fun is only just beginning.

Have no meaningful insight into the acq. however, as you say, it's seems to have given the sp a boost..onwards and upwards !

Not sure about Execs and others taking shares in lieu of cash - does this spell the need to conserve cash or was it a preliminary to buying TECO (no posting here, so I know nowt) - they have some Government approval recently so maybe this is the "boost" that others were hoping for.
The sp needs to rise a bit more (say beyond 25p) before these Execs can be sure their gamble has paid off.
Paying execs in shares whenever a sp falls 30% (let's say), is a good idea as it should concentrate their minds---
1) not to over egg the reality
2) to provide rising shareholder value

Re todays, news.
This is great news, now lets hope the NHS budget managers see the CardioQ for what it is. With the publicity that will follow questions should be asked if the CardioQ is not taken up. It has been proved that it saves lives ( the shorter time spent in hospital the longer you live ) and also it saves money. What more are they waiting for.
Due to the NHS lack of ability to make even the simplest decisions, don't expect any huge uptake. But it will come, slowly maybe, but it now ( imho ) looks inevitable. I am still looking to overseas for the real profits to be made.
