Wow.........

Look at EEN 8 points down.

17p in 2 days.

What did they do wrong?

mickeyskint - 16 Nov 2004 12:37 - 1782 of 7811

SWW

When I was on the game, one night I came home with 20 all in 50p pieces. My missus said Who gave you the 50p's, I said they all did.

I use to work for Horlicks. Thats what's in the middle of Maltesers. Horlicks use to make them for Mars.

I could'nt have just the one night cap. Will try it with ginger.

LOL

proptrade - 16 Nov 2004 12:40 - 1784 of 7811

EEN is a pile of crap....i have folloed it for 8 years and can testify that management ONLY disappoints.

seawallwalker - 16 Nov 2004 12:55 - 1785 of 7811

With Ray Coniff playing in the background, I have to pick up a paint brush for the rest of the day.

Summer Time,

and the living is easy........

Did I say many years ago I was an Odeon Doorman?

The projectionist always played Ray Coniff in the intermissions, while I and my usherettes sold ice cream.

We had so few punters that I always went to each and every one asking if they wanted an ice cream. Did not take long to realise that people can not say no easily, so we took a fortune in sales.

Just as well as the films rarely made much money then. A fair bit was also made in the Ballroom, on Weddings and so on.

Worst tipper was the Chief Constable at the Policeman's Ball. (An Irish Sixpence).

Best tipper was Tesco Manager, staff Christmas Party (He gave me a 1926 shilling in EF Condition which I still have. Silly man, I collected coins in those days).

Good to see cinemas making a comeback as they have, but I do miss the old atmosphere.

Bit impersonal now, the employees don't care if you buy or not.

It's all your fault this newish setup. If you had supported your local cinemas even after videos had been invented, it would still be the same as it was; smoke filled, dirty seats, fleas where the tramps bought a seat for all afternoon and evening!

Oh yes, they were the days!

seawallwalker - 16 Nov 2004 14:53 - 1786 of 7811

So.

Having been in the red all day so far, we have hit level ground again.

MM's dare not keep it low for long as buys come out of the woodwork.

proptrade - 16 Nov 2004 15:19 - 1787 of 7811

so true. back to 20p in a few sessions.

daves dazzlers - 16 Nov 2004 15:43 - 1788 of 7811

Afternoon all,its a bit late i know, but i have been trying to sell brjk for 60 pence each both holding ,as i want to dabble with 6 others, small amounts in each,,any tea in the pot.

proptrade - 16 Nov 2004 15:47 - 1789 of 7811

just had a double espresso to keep me awake. pissed off with ESY, down on no volume and no reason. staked a fair chunk on momentum continuing from yesterday.

Once this silly bollocks inflation fear in out the way after these producer numbers then we can refocus on telcoms and the fact that they are coming back up the old cycle. check out the moves in VOD, BT and the rises in CTM and THUS. all inching forward and with all types back in flavour ESY is back to a quid.

bit of a rant on the wrong thread...sorry

daves dazzlers - 16 Nov 2004 15:49 - 1790 of 7811

big hopes for bt.a,prop.

Has anyone tried the free download from Sharescope. Well free untill the end of the month. I'm never sure how usefull these things are. OK it's full of detail but so is most of you guys out there. Don't know what it costs but it's bound to be expensive. Don't think I'll bother.

Mickey

several of the day traders in the traders room swear by it - personally tried the demo a while back and found it had little use to me but that was just my view - if you are interested may be worth asking the question in the traders room

MICKEY - me old mate !!! (have been following this thread for so long, i feel I know you well). If you are thinking three to six months, DAG is worth a look.
