Not much coverage here by investors.
A large fall earlier this year became another fall today as the company asked for 5m more. Their earlier projections were wrong and so the sp was way-off.
This is a niche market and one hopes it comes good - creating new products that we cannot dream of.
However, private investors have been poorly served; that's the risk you take jumping-in too soon.
The Placing was at 20p and today the buy price is 25 so you are paying nearly 25% more than financiers who have greater insight.
I may buy if it reaches 20p to Buy, I'm guessing.

Late November and there is nothings to say about the sp, or what has happened to the money raised in the City. Let's hope they have some good own-investment in mind, I'm sure that will be their intention.
No-one here see any potential in the MED-glasses?
I see a huge future in:
- Surgery- where the surgeon can have two views in the same light-weight head-up display - one of his surroundings, (general state of the patient or readings on inistruments)... and another "screen" showing the internal detail if the "keyhole" operation.
Military:- a similar display concept (but rugedised!), enables a tank-driver to see the target and their own situation as viewed from a helicopter, so the tank/vehicle can attack without being attacked, coded transmissions should make friend/foe judgements easy to follow whenever vehicles or troops use communication.
Note that a helicopter is not essential, since direction-finding radio could identify the players and each other, before any engagement.
Domestic head-up displays showing wiideeSccreen movies, yet without the 1/2kW required by current large displays - and as you move your head, the scene can track. Imagine being on that mine-cart in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom"? Really scarey, since at present, you can move your head and see that it's a screen again!
Ah well, back to dreaming.

Late Jan07- sp c.42p on news of a deal in the Far East.
THis shows the company is at least talking to interested parties, although I'm not sure it means Sales, yet.
The sp was 140 in Jan05 until reality crept-in, but today's sp is at nearly 25% of what many were prepared to pay then. I Hold now.
See 26 Nov06 post for "potential uses" of this technology. I suspect it will become common-place, the only question is: Will MED be the supplier? Ah, there's the Biggie!

Just under 50p after news of a cash-injection a week ago ( c. 3.5m), that should enable some units to be built in Dresden (Germany) factory.
I'm waiting for production news and this fall-back means buying is cheaper.
Still, no interest from the punters - ah well, that the trouble sometimes - but I've doubled my money and the next question is should I redouble my holding so as to "skoke the fire" as it were. Top-slicing is a lazy-way to invest IMHO - because you are getting out of something you've learned to love and (in all probability) will stick it in something that's at best a 50:50 chance....however, if The Story is dire then getting-out is the sensible route, having made maybe 50%, just n case....

Sept 07 sees another cash-issue....
(DYOR, only approx figures...)
Placing of 15m shares will raise 7.5m at 50p
New total of shares c.60m - so this placing represents a fairly fair dilution - but it also representas a ot of Dosh!
Sp seems to be hovering about the 50p-mark, which is hardly surprising....and any Market woes may drop this a bit further......so at least until some "production" is in hand of customers, I suspect this is a Wait and See investment. At this price there are better prospects...
perhaps - - -
- and what do others think?

35p as a result of Market Woes and a strange lack of connection between the Dresden factory and UK investors - indeed the Co appears pretty silent. Their website is not particularly interesting either IMHO.
They had a cash-call c 1 most recently, so the current price is a great disapointment I'm guessing.
I bought a few on a dip....and hope this UK-business (is it?), holds a block-buster! wow! Am I wrong? - zero interest here, it seems.
EDIT 11 March08 - 29p = mid, after news - well, it's to be expected in these Markets.
EDIT 15-April 08 - Slide continues....24p (mid)

May08 - sp drops 50%, Yikes!
11p to sell, 13p to Buy ( but they may get cheaper!)
This looks to be a wake-up call-investors take note.....the .... appears to be asleep.....having startied to deliver eyescreen glasses, the Co. tells us the Market woes are affecting Sales!
+Add to which some Execs are leaving.
- - - - Does it get any worse?
I think they are in dire need of some pro-active PR - not just fancy words. Come to London and let's see the Gear!

Director Buys are NOT good news, ( not even at 14p )
Yes, we like them to use their own money and suffer the pain we do, (and gains, too). But the Total shareholding of two directors is 33k shares - is less than 5k - which is hardly interesting, unlerss that fact alone tells us something . . . . . Oh very Dear!
I think it would have been better to Buy nothing. FWIW, my "trigger-level" for interest in what our over-paid execs get up to is 50k each, or 100k as a group - provided it's at the "open-market" price. Furthermore I dislike any "options" which are a burden on retail shareholders (- that's Thee and Me !).
EDIT: If this touches sub-10p I might buy a few. I just wonder what the competition is doing, now that some product has been shipped - no doubt looking hard at their alternatives . . . . that may be the reason for the SLIDE.
EDIT 7 July08 - sp 14p to buy, quite a fall after a small bounce.
EDIT 14July08 - down 18% on just 1200-worth, 7p/8.5 - someone wants out, oh deary.
EDIT 1 Aug08 - down 38% ( 4/5.5p), RNS of possible Placing - that's Dilution!
EDIT 12 Aug08- down 18%(4-5p) yet 10.30AM, looks like more Buys.

MED down a bit more today ...no RNS... Looks like finding Cash is not going to be easy - they should try elsewhere, but probably don't like the loss of ownership that creates.
IF this IS a Biggie ( with portable displays, low-power etc...it's the answer for Ipod "Movies on the Move!" - IMHO )....why don't Banks understand this....instead of investing in "financial funnies" - like sub-prime?
Investing in wealth-creation isn't "easy" - but it's far better (for UK plc), since it creates more customers (for the Banks etc!). Also by keeping it in the UK we all benefit. This sub-prime lunacy by our Banks has cost every M-W-C in the country, by way of increased Bank charges, Mortgage woes and dramatic House-price falls. Add-in Pension falls, and - - Grr!
Anyone seen MED's devices?
EDIT
Monday 18 Aug08 - just 30 drops the sp 7% - Ooo-er. . . . and still no Co news - We might see a Placing - at 2p - anyone listening?
EDIT-1, 02Sept08- No it's fallen to 1.25/1.5, so there! EDIT-2, (close)- 1.25 - 2p dropped 33%
-Next Placing at 1p - IMHO . . .!

30% uplift - for no obvious reason - doesn't this require an RNS . . . even if only to deny a takeover, etc.?
EDIT 10Sept08 - +20% for Buys=500k, no sells -Last Buy at 2p (70% above trade 20mins earlier - for ?800-worth.)
If someone knows something - I suspect some of these are Sells. Still no RNS.
EDIT late Sept RNS,
Read the bit about refinance . . . . oh deary. - still the Turnover is up, but despite last year being zero, it still isn't enough to pay Directors' salaries . . . . . 1p/1.75p
