Vernalis- Judgment day on 30/9/07 (VER)

jatinghedia207 - 28 Sep 2007 12:49

Surely the answer from FDA is going to be yes!

Seems a tad careless to undertake a Trial that then turns out to be Not fit for Purpose. You'd think that if this was their tenth approval then maybe they took their eye off the ball - - - but here is the company's Main-Rescue ( the US market was to take them into profit).

This is carelessness of the Highest Order and at least one Exec should walk the plank.

Shades of the old British Biotech are still present....oh dear.....pity anyone with an ex- decent investment in this dud.

Couldn't resist an end-of-year comment on this 6p company.

The Data says it's Mkt Cap is 24m - well let's hope there is 25m in the Bank in reddies!
Is this a play-company, run by a divison of the Infant's School on Work-experience?

First trade of the day 27.3m shares bought @6.5p.
Is the bunson burner about to light up again?

My understanding is this Co has cash greater than sp...so the treatments and pipeline are "free" - - - there may have been a disapointment that caused this slide ( was it Oct 07 as mentioned here?) . . . . . I attended their AGM a few weeks ago - I've topped up since, at current levels, and it surprising how many you get for the money!
This may not be a 10-bagger, but I believe it's undervalued, based only on their cash if you must. Previously my holding was sold/already "written off" having only a small number as a rump to attend agm's, get Reports etc.
It's full-List, = ISA-able....=very tasty, if good. But don't spend too much. DYOR.
