The Maltby mine is producing 1mill tonnes of good coking coal a year just work out what that is in value..I would not be surprised if there is a bidder willing to take this on at 8 a share .

taking a look at this one mitzy. I hold ukc which I think sold Maltby to HSP. Was previously solely coal distributor and only now have 1 coal mine?

Maltby has a 3 year contract with Drax power station to provide them with coal at present 60% of Maltby coal goes to Drax..the rest goes to other power stations the contract is at a fixed price but provides security to Hargreaves going forward.The mine has 10 years left of economic production and maybe another 10 years with suitable investment.
