roses are red , violets are blue BUT gold is megabucks (NYO)

TheFrenchConnection - 04 Oct 2010 06:51

Mes amities a'tous..when on a secular bull run gold rises like a staircase they teach you. l personally think due to a plethora of reasons the yellow metal will be gently "talked up" to $2000 pto irrespective of the general macro picture -: but with plenty of nasty scares and ambushes to flush out the not so savvy along the way. l think the millitary call it colateral damage.-its always the same .. ....l see Jim Rogers is waxing lyricalll hard/soft comms esp. gold and silver and iron ore .....lts all part of the cycle .... akin to the rise and fall of tech stocks in the 90s, the oil boom of 2001/6. and the longbullrun of banking, utilities, and retaling which had their roots in ealy 80s .........usual boom and bust scenario in motion here one would think on first looking ,,,oh the city loves its boom and bust economics .....depends on it .....nurtures and cherishes it ...and dont ever forget the owners of the casino make the rules ...we but merely dance to their tune ..Can it ever be any other way ?...... lts all part of the cycle -a very dangerous cycle as it happens on this occassion .but nevertheless still part of the cycle. But in this instance the case for gold is reinforced by the fragile state of the western economys and its currencies which is reflected by their respective bourses . ....By 2013 we will be back to screaming about oil trading above $100 again on its way to $180 ... But back to gold. l already have holdings in bellweather - POG - and in ABG,AAAM, HGM and CEY, ,,,but was looking for a tiddler with a highly exiting ensuing year ahead with projects verifying the already inferred size of their resource and looking ripe to exploit this current boom..Most candidates already have a kings ransom already factored in . NYO is only juste hitting the radar .... l bought NYO as i view it as replicating the success of my other holdings .....For once l am saying very little as i think it speaks for itself .l think you will find this out during respective research that you may deem neccassary ,and will see the same potential as myself . lf the inferred JORC compliaced size of resource proves close to the mark this tiddler will have a multi billion $ m/c. ...Please note - l am buying as a meduim term hold - 6-12 months investment and not in CFD or option to buy or as a t play looking for quick returns reg: tec analysis... suggests its ready to perhaps break out of current trading pattern what with 12 day ema and 26 day ema converging in vertcal direction / stock trading above both 20 and 50 day ema ..RSl and ADX of ohh ......ill post a chart including that mullarky in a lheader when have time

Good morning Roly .....me too -in @ 18.75...both tranches,,,,couldnt get a decent amount without paying a whacking premium ...,,,,,Heres a juicy titbit for you ,,,,,lf you delve deep enough you will see they have a 100% interest in another miner that has a shedload of cash sloshing about

Gold price , update , nothing seem's to move this

aldwickk - 01 Nov 2010 18:11 - 13 of 115

Another bad showing today , " J " i sold these at 17.75 bid a few weeks ago.

TheFrenchConnection - 08 Nov 2010 14:28 - 14 of 115

at last NYO are on the move. Up to 18.75 . About time; but.hardly surprising considering ratio of buyers to sellers both today, but esp, last friday when said ratio was almost 8/ 1 and even out of hours large buy orders of 325,000 and a plethora of 100k to 200k buys failed to even get a pip on either bid or offer; and kept the stock locked in that awfully large spread ..........am hearing rumours that jorc inferred resource of 1.3 million oz of gold is to be raised by the company after months of 24 hour non stop drilling around the clock to sure up the size of resource after even more decent gold intersections at fringes of prospect ...............Very similar to KYS as need a partner with deep pockets to move this project quickly from drawing board to hard production . ......l didnt realize you had sold Roly until now / bit premature wasnt it ? Was ineveitable after the placing a little selling would occur by those immediately in the money .........

halifax - 08 Nov 2010 16:18 - 15 of 115

tfc why do they need another partner when they already have IFC on board?

TheFrenchConnection - 24 Nov 2010 23:56 - 16 of 115

.... nice to see NYO up 25% this past few weeks without even a hint of a frothy spike. - more of a nice gentle curve. Spread tight @ 22.5 / 22.75 and trading shows some half decent buys -!00k+ at top of the market . Looking strong and resilient of late and hopefully breaking out of its previos channel / and a lot of rumours working their way through the city ../....l do beg your pardon halifax in the delay in responding to your question . To be honest being virtually the only poster on this thread i totally missed it, and have only discovered it now, upon wanting to make a posting reg NYO . Nice to know you are aboard .................As reg your question. Now while i know the lFC are currently and in the future, heavily fiscally committed to the company, and do correct me if i am wrong, but is it not IFC policy to commit only 25% of estimated capex on any singular project ( There was talk of 50% under exceptional circumstances - and i suppose hosts would qualify for the 50% what with its abject poverty and lack of employment oppertunities. But i cant comment on that. What i meant as a partner was of the likes of a big miner as i believe this has the potential to be a "world class discovery". ...Considering only a fraction of the prospect has been drilled - and you dont drill 24 hours a day without reason - and we continue to find new intersections along fringes as well as continued mineralization along well established axis lines i see the already jorc inferred resource of 1.38 million ozs as being more than a tad conservative and soon to be revised .

aldwickk - 25 Nov 2010 07:52 - 17 of 115

Off topic " J ", I spoke to Rory Scott at the brokers dealing with the Mozambique Resources issue , its a placing.

ulphy64 - 25 Nov 2010 12:23 - 18 of 115

Interesting you should mention that TFC, I tried starting a thread for Nyota back in April/ May time but lots of people seem to be missing the point then with this company! Wonder if they will start to take more notice when the resources estimate increases rather significantly!

TheFrenchConnection - 25 Nov 2010 13:49 - 19 of 115

good afternoon Roly.-Always nice to hear from you. Apologies for appearing so dim but could you possibly rephrase your posting reg. placing and brief synopsis of gist of chat with R.S.for clarification ?.Has confused me somewhat . Are you reffering to the tranches of stock the IFC struck, and agreed to take up, once the s/p of NYO surpassed certain specified levels ? { such as now }. Or am i missing the point here ? lts juste that what with you making reference to Mozambique when NYO s core asset - the Kulu Kapi gold mine -is in W.Ethiopia ;and what with NYO's own recent placing of stock @ 16p now nicely bedded in , l cannot see a furthur placing in the immediate pipeline ..........

aldwickk - 25 Nov 2010 15:55 - 20 of 115

Barclay's gave me the number of one of the broker's dealing with the Mozambique Resources AIM market issue , which you mention in one of your post's . He told me it was not open to retail investor's and confirmed it was a placing.
