Antofagasta - Just keeps on climbing... (ANTO)

grahamsteel1974 - 24 Sep 2003 13:01

From 600p to 937p in 3 months, not bad eh?

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? My current profit on CFD is approaching 25%, am tempted to run with that but gut feeling says they will cont. to rise due to proposed demerger?

The miners need to come to the top here!

Just been re-weighted on the ftse index!

Any thoughts anybody?

Lovely uptrend channel in place on Antofagasta anto with the sp now on the base line and moving back upwards towards the channel top.

Secondarty indicator Stochs looks like its giving a buy signal aswell due to the stock being oversold.

Resistance at around 610p......

interesting thought stinky, on chart basis only though i rather think, given that copper is still pretty low and KAZ resulkts were nothing to shout about, notwithstanding that sp has recovered sharply from yesterday

Would agree on fundies cyners, but the Chinese seem to be wanting enough of it so Im in there bullish.

Yep got both but very wary of the volatility with these miners at the moment.
