Coral Poduct down 18% - but why? (CRU)

Soulretro - 19 Nov 2003 13:21

Coral Products Plc specialise in the manufacturing of plastics for the media packaging industry, such as video and cassette boxes, compact disc cases and
housewares.

Nice value play.

No volume and down 18%, could the dollar weakness be the responsible?

Any views?

Steadily recovering, only 6% down now.

Their results are due soon, 1 December I think, and having watched the price drop I can only imagine that someone knows the news is not good. I bought quite a lot in the summer thinking it a value play. I tried to sell the other day and had difficulty because there are only two market makers, each offering low prices and would only buy 1000 shares at a time.
