Eurasia Mining (EUA)

aevansdj - 25 Dec 2003 20:20

I invested in this firm a while a go unfortunately things have not gone as I hoped.I realise this is a highly volatile sector.
I am just wondering if anyone can give me any sign of hope.

No.

Andy - 27 Dec 2003 19:15 - 3 of 18

Wendy,

Ever considered joining the diplomatic service?

I agree by the way, but I might have tried to dress it up a bit!

Have a good New Year.

Aevansdj

This might help, I found it on the MoneyAM email.

Shares in Eurasia Mining have put on 33.3% to 8.5p over three days. On 14 January it shares hardened after news that 90% owned subsidiary, Masedi Platinum Ltd, has won a prospecting permit on the Kliprivier area in South Africa's Bushveld and plans to start drilling next month. The permit area lies adjacent to two of the Bushveld's promising platinum group metal projects - Anglo Platinum's Der Brochen project to the north and Aquarius Platinum's Everest South project to the north-east.

We bought a couple of thous worth of these shares a year ago. They have had good results from drilling reports (which had no effect on the price) and the recent license permit news is also positive. Platinum is a premium, mining is tipped as a hot area for 2004 ??? we are in profit but are holding the shares in hope of more substantial gains, which is rare for us as we normally cash in profits too quickly. When we bought them it was in the expectation this share will give a soaring return or we will lose everything. here's hoping (especially hubby as it is his money - he works in drilling)

aevansdj - 19 Jan 2004 13:32 - 7 of 18

I would like to thank Laurencecope and Minx for their input. Thinking of buying more due to positive news last week.I share same view as Minx in the all or nothing approach.
Lets hope they do soar in value.

aevansdj - 02 Mar 2004 13:25 - 8 of 18

Does anyone know if the proposed drilling of Klipriver area in South Africa has commenced? It was due to start in February but I'm wondering if it's been delayed for some reason.I've sent an e-mail to the firm but still awaiting for a reply.

yollo - 05 Mar 2004 15:20 - 9 of 18

I have been informed that news from Eurasia Mining is comming 'very soon' so just hold on and wait.Remember not everyone will buy in when the price moves on up.Some of you will already be in and waiting.............News is comming.

aevansdj - 14 Mar 2004 23:04 - 10 of 18

Yollo I am right in thinking you expect this share to do well.If so what is the reason?I've bought the share on speculation on it hitting the jackpot in one of the areas it's currently drilling in.

Company Eurasia Mining PLC
TIDM EUA
Headline Drilling Report
Released 07:00 15 Mar 2004
Number 5147W

Start of drilling to assess platinum potential at Kliprivier

Eurasia Mining plc (the Company) is pleased to announce that it will today begin drilling on its Kliprivier permit on the Eastern Bushveld Complex in South Africa.

This drilling is intended to assess the potential for eventual production of platinum group metals (PGMs) from two large structures identified by geophysical surveys and geological mapping.

The two target structures are believed to include part of the UG2 reef, which is a highly productive source of PGMs elsewhere across the Bushveld. The reef reaches the surface at the eastern margin of the permit area.

The first drill hole is one of two planned as phase one of the Kliprivier drilling programme. It will assess the potential of a large, 3km by 4km northern basin at its maximum depth of 800 to 1,000m, where Eurasia controls about 50% of the structure. It is scheduled for completion by the end of April.

The second hole, sited towards the middle of the basin, will assess the potential of the second, southern, structure which extends over an area of 6km by 1.5km, where Eurasia controls 70%.

Encouraging results from the first drill holes will allow Eurasia to follow up with a program of drilling southwards, where the reef occurs at shallow depths. The company will use the results from the first phase of drilling to plan a second, more detailed phase later this year.

Eurasia Mining PLC
27 April 2004

Eurasia Mining plc ('The Company') is pleased to announce that its first
drillhole on its Kliprivier permit on the Bushveld in South Africa has
intersected the UG2 reef at a depth of 854.4m, well within the projected depth
expected. The intersection consists of 0.7 metres of massive chromitite and was
followed by approximately 15m of thin chromitite layers, chromitite stringers
and chromite disseminations, typical of the UG2 reef in this area of the
Bushveld.

The next stage will see the drilling of two wedged holes from the master drill
hole. Following their completion, the cores will be assayed for platinum group
metals (PGMs). This program is estimated to take a further 3-4 weeks to
complete.

Merensky reef equivalent rocks were also intersected at 763 metres but at this
stage will not be included in the wedge drilling program. To date the Merensky
in this area of the Bushveld has not given economic grades of PGMs but this
single intersection will be assayed.

Eurasia holds a 90% interest in the Kliprivier permit through its subsidiary
company Masedi Platinum (Proprietary) Limited. Eurasia is undertaking a first
phase drilling assessment of two large structures present in the area. A second
drillhole is planned for the other major structure following completion of this
hole.
