I hope so! Like other I bought a lot of shares when they were 'on top!' With all the set top boxes being made and contracts with other companies, I sincerely hope so.......

Grateful if someone would explain to me what is meant by "Price Monitoring Extension activated on this security" - Has been registered twice since end of play to-day.

Oakapples, it's a pretty technical thing, to do with the way a closing price is established for securities traded on SETS, and you can safely ignore it. What it means is that the closing auction did not succeed (there were not enough entries to allow a closing price to be calculated), and therefore the auction period is being extended. That can happen twice, and if the second extension still does not succeed then the last SETS trade is taken as the closing price. It often happens with more thinly traded stocks on SETS.

Kayak: Thank you so much for taking the trouble to explain. I had some concern why the stock plunged at close of play following a stream of buys. I have been in and out of PIC three times (twice in profit) and expected to see it rise to around 65p following a recent contract secured in Australia.
Gook luck

Sells out numbered buys 8 to 1 today & still the price held up. Are market makers accumulating shares?

It's around the lowest prices in one and half a year. Isn't Pace in a better shape now?

I got out for a while at 52p. My understanding of the problem is that they have been "giving away" equipment under a sqeeze from SkyBSB and that their margins particularly in UK are suffering. IMHO. I`ll be back - had them once at 9 !!

Big markets in USA and Europe to tap. Last I heard they were looking to expand there. No updates. I'm a long time sufferer, bght at 125p. Can't see how the price will get up there again.

The 80p spikes are normal, just a feature of how the books/orders re-populate in the morning; rarely tradeable.

MikeHardman
What does that mean?
Anyway, it is not normal.
If it were normal then it would happen to the charts of all other shares but it doesn't.

apple..
It used to happen in LGEN for a while, about 4 years ago as I recall.
It happens when an order significantly off the more normal mid-price is stuck in the books for a while (can be months). When the books repopulate in the morning, if that order is not undercut by another one much nearer the mid-price, it will seem to distort the price. Depending on how the orders happen to come in, the mid-price (as you see on your chart) might happen to be the same as that 80p order -- if it is the only order on the books. That will be only temporary, and may have been corrected by the time the books open at 8am.
The pseudo-spike would only be tradeable if there was a bid price was up near it, but that's rarely the case. eg. on 9nov04, it opened at 53/80p.
The current 80p offer in the books has been there since 1nov04 (I take it you do have Level2).
The behaviour is normal in principle, with any stock; the amount of distortion obviously depends on the particular price discrepancy, and hence may or may not look abnormal depending on personal outlook.
PIC can be traded on fleeting abnormalities, however. Last year I manage to scalp 400 net profit in 15 seconds from one of those. It was also a question of luck, because IGIndex (I did it on a spread bet) happened to be performing extremely quickly at the time.

HY is better than expected (over 100% growth in sale.. etc). FY is expected to be lower... But it can change in the next six month. They are predicting the growth in the second half to be lower than the first half etc.
All IMO. I hold the shares,... Do your own research.. blablabla

I never really understand/accept the fact that to-day there are nearly 10 times the recorded buys versus sells and the SP drops
