19 million shares traded, almost certainly institutional buys today, may well clear an overhang and allow this mining minnow to scale new heights. Centamin have been indicating a larger gold reserve than the 3m oz, suggested in the summer, when mine exploration restarted at Sukari. Studies should show the extent of the indicated reserves more clearly by xmas. so far the herd are not involved tho, i anticipate a stampede soon

fundamentally looking speculative but a good bet

My view is that it may go up to about 18.5p or there about, and then come down to test the previous resistance level at 15-16p. I am not in yet, but has traded it over the past two years.

Centamin are due to present to the Minesite Mining Forum in London tomorrow, and it is thought this will provide a platform for gaining wider interest in the company. They have been hyped up recently through tips for 2006 and also in the Minesite forum literature:

"Centamin Egypt is a company listed on the ASX as well as on AIM which should be close to the top of anyones list of top picks for 2006 as an advanced gold explorer sitting on a fast expanding resource." - minesite

SP risen sharply in past two months and assets look strong enough to support it. One to watch tomorrow and rest of the week. At the very least, should provide some decent press coverage.
