Resignation of Auditor
The Company announces that its auditor, Scott-Moncrieff, has resigned from its office as statutory auditor with immediate effect. This follows the recent decision by Scott-Moncrieff to cease providing audit services to Public Interest Entities, such as the Company.
Scott-Moncrieff have confirmed that there are no circumstances in connection to their ceasing to hold office that need to be brought to the attention of the members or creditors of the Company. A copy of Scott-Moncrieff's statement of reasons relating to the resignation will be sent to shareholders shortly for information only, as required by Section 520(2) of the Companies Act 2006.
The Audit Committee has commenced an audit tender process and a further announcement will be made in due course.
