Director changes
The Board of Aberdeen Japan Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Dean as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 December 2020.
Sam has over 25 years of investment banking experience, starting his career with Kleinwort Benson in 1993.
He held senior Equity Capital Markets (ECM) roles at both Citigroup and Deutsche Bank before joining Barclays in 2009, when he was appointed as the bank's Global Co-Head of ECM with a mandate to build out the bank's new capabilities in this area following the acquisition of Lehman Brother's North American investment banking business.
Prior to his retirement from Barclays in 2017, Sam was Co-Head of the Investment Banking Division EMEA and Head of Corporate Finance for Europe.
