Halma appoints Louise Makin as chair designate

Safety equipment maker Halma said it had appointed Dame Louise Makin as its chair designate.
Makin joined the company as an independent non-executive director and chair designate and would replace Paul Walker as chair in July 2021.
For 15 years Makin was CEO of BTG, the international specialist healthcare company.
