Builders' merchant Travis Perkins said it had completed the merger of its Wickes DIY chain.
The company's shareholders had approved the move at a meeting on Tuesday.
Wickes shares, trading under the ticker WIX, would commence trading on the London Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning.
