Prospex Energy PLC - investment company focused on European gas and power projects - Raises GBP59,800 through a conditional placing of 1.7 million new ordinary shares in a broker option that closed on Wednesday.
This option follows an oversubscribed placing and subscription on Monday in which it raised GBP2.4 million.
The total proceeds with the broker option now stand at GBP2.5 million.
A total of 70.1 million new ordinary shares will be issued, assuming all resolutions are approved at the company's general meeting. This includes 68.4 million shares from the placing and subscription and the new shares 1.7 million from the broker option.
"We are very pleased to have closed this placing, subscription and broker option with an extra 2.5% of the original placing being raised via the broker option bringing us to a total of GBP2.5 million. Thank you to all our existing and new shareholders for your support," Chief Executive Mark Routh comments.
Current stock price: 3.76 pence, down 6.0% on Wednesday.
