Power Metal Resources PLC - London-based metal discoveries company with projects focused in Africa, Australia and North America - Notes that comprehensive geophysical desktop study for the flagship Wallal project in Australia is complete, determining the thickness of the Phanerozoic sedimentary cover, which is above the rocks holding the magnetic anomalies of interest.
In addition, a Wallal project recon field visit has been completed, allowing for the mapping and surveying of 100 kilometres of existing tracks linking Wallal tenements containing the magnetic bullseye anomalies to the Great Northern Highway.
A programme of works application for ground disturbance to prepare for the planned phase one diamond core drilling programme has been submitted to the government of Western Australia Department of Mines Industry Regulation & Safety.
Also, a Heritage Clearance Survey Request has been submitted to the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation traditional owners in anticipation of securing land access in advance.
