Ukrproduct Group Ltd - dairy foods and beverages producer and distributor in Ukraine - Suspends operations at Zhytomyr plant, which makes processed cheese and Kvass, due to nearby Russian military activity. Operations at its Starokostiantyniv and Letychiv plants continue, but output from the Starokostiantyniv plant is at half of its normal volume, due to military activity and nightly curfews. Ukrproduct makes most of its products, including butter, spreads, hard cheese and milk powder, at the Starokostiantyniv facility.
‘As will be appreciated, the financial impact of the invasion will be negative on the company, but it is too early at this stage to estimate the extent of that impact,’ Ukrproduct says.
