BAE Systems on Monday said it completed its acquisition of Bohemia Interactive Simulations for $200 million.
The London-based aerospace company said the acquisition will expand its modelling and simulation capabilities in a ‘growing market for global military training’. Bohemia will join BAE System's Intelligence & Security sector.
The acquisition was funded from BAE System's existing cash resources.
Bohemia is a Orlando, Florida-based software firm focused on training solutions for the military.
Shares in BAE Systems were up 6.9% at 739.40 pence on Monday in London.
