Vietnam Enterprise Investments boosts net asset value in February

ALN

Vietnam Enterprise Investments Ltd said on Friday that its net asset value increased 1.0% over the previous month.

The FTSE 250-listed closed end investment trust with a focus on Vietnam said it also beat its reference index, the Vietnam Index, which rose by 0.1%.

The company's NAV per share at February 28 was $12.35 and its total NAV was $2.6 billion.

In the month, Vietnam Enterprise's top performing stock was property developer Dat Xanh Group, up 24%.

Portfolio Manager Dien Huu Vu said: ‘The company outperformed a flat Vietnam Index in February, which unlike many markets globally has so far shown little reaction to events in Ukraine.’

Shares in Vietnam Enterprise were down 0.7% at 720.21 pence on Friday morning in London.
