Joules Group PLC - Leicestershire, England-based country lifestyle retailer - Says defferred consideration for Garden Trading Company Ltd is now due, as Garden Trading has met all targets post-acquisition. Joules bought the digitally-led home & garden retailer with an upfront payment of £9 million in February of last year. It will now pay £3.0 million in cash, and around £500,000 in new 243,368 shares in Joules at £2.05 each.
Joules previously said it acquired Garden Trading to broaden its product offer and strengthen its digital platform.
Current stock price: 52.20 pence, up 4.4% on Monday
