IN BRIEF: Zinc Media shares rise on contract win worth £2.8 million

Zinc Media Group PLC - UK-based TV and multimedia content producer - Says its Scotland and Belfast, Northern Ireland-based production company Tern TV secured a two-year contract with the BBC. Notes the commission is worth £2.8 million and in partnership with County Down, Northern Ireland-based production service Green Inc Film & Television Ltd.

The companies will produce BBC One's Sunday Morning Live programme.

‘This is another milestone moment for the group and for Tern TV in Northern Ireland. Winning this contract propels the group into live television. It vindicates our investment in nations and regions production and provides a bedrock of forward booked revenue from which to further grow our production business,’ Chief Executive Mark Browning comments.

Current stock price: 87.90 pence, up 10%

Year-to-date change: up 38%
