Shares in S4 Capital PLC tumbled on Wednesday after saying auditor PricewaterhouseCoopers was unable to complete the work needed for the advertising firm to release its results as planned on Thursday morning.
Shares in S4 fell 34% to 318.70 pence in London on Wednesday.
The Martin Sorrell-founded firm said it will release its 2021 results as soon as PwC has completed the work.
‘The company believes that the results for 2021 remain within the range of market expectations and continued to trade strongly in the first two months of 2022,’ said S4.
