Synthomer PLC - Essex-based chemicals maker - Completes $1 billion acquisition of the adhesive resins business of Tennessee, US-based chemical company, Eastman. The acquired business will form a new division within Synthomer called Adhesive Technologies. Company says this will expand its geographic footprint and increases its research & development capability.
