Centamin PLC - Jersey-based Egypt-focused gold miner - Posts lower quarterly revenue for first quarter ended March 31. Revenue drops by 8.1% to $174.6 million from $189.9 million a year ago. Gold production falls by 11% to 93,109 from 104,047 ounces. Realised gold price rises by 5.9% to $1,883 from $1,778 per ounce sold.
Says outlook for the full year 2022 remains unchanged, including the target gold production of 430,000 to 460,000 ounces. In 2021, the company produced 415,370 ounces of gold.
