Life Settlement Assets PLC - London-based investment trust focused on the United States - Posts higher annual net asset value. It rises by 9.0% to $2.19 per share at the end of 2021, from $2.01 the year before. Year-end net asset value climbs by 9.1% to $109.3 million from $100.2 million. The trust swings to a pretax profit of $14.5 million from a loss of $6.8 million in 2020. The company has no stated dividend target, it explains. Outlook for the life settlement industry ‘continues to remain positive with an increasing global interest in the sector,’ Life Settlement adds.
