NextEnergy Solar Fund Ltd - Guernsey-based investor and asset manager in the solar sector - Selects first site for a co-located battery storage project. The project will extend the existing 11 million watt North Norfolk solar farm to include a 6 million watt and 12 megawatt hour battery system. Says planning permission for the co-located battery system has been secured. Expects construction to start on site ‘later this year’.
